Walkthrough
Once you get to the Botanical Labs, you will encounter a guardian named Grace. After talking with her, you will learn that one of the residents - Zoe - has gone missing. If you want, you can help with the search.
Start by going to Zoe's house. You will find it at the end of the alley, not far from the trader. Inside, you can find fragments of a journal that has the location of the girl. Go to that place to free her.
Note: The place where Zoe is kept is also associated with Fistful of Digits quest. If you met Constable Reyes in Edgewater and promised to help her, then you can do both quests at the same time.
Once you reach the location, you will encounter a bunch of marauders. Start attacking them when you are on the outskirts of the city. This will force opponents to regroup - you can also use the nearby rocks as covers.
Zoe is in the central part of the city. Watch for mines lying in the streets. Lastly, you have to talk to the woman. You have to convince her to come back. Do this by using persuasion.
