On this page of the guide to The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, you will find a short description about the fight with Blue Hinox.

Blue Hinox is a Mini-Boss of Turtle Rock. In addition to the usual attacks, Blue Hinox can also throw bombs at you. This fight may be simpler than the previous ones, with Hinoxes, because you don't have to watch out for holes in the floor or traps.

You can kill him by using your sword, shooting a bow with arrows or planting bombs near him. However, the most effective method will be the use of a boomerang. After defeating him, he will respawn like a normal enemy.
