On this page of the guide to The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, you will find a short description about the fight with Facade.

Facade is the Main Boss in Face Shrine, that guards the Coral Triangle. As soon as the fight begins, quickly remove one of the vases in the corner of the chamber and stand there with a shield raised. After a while, the orange tiles from the floor and vases will start smashing into you. The Facade will disappear for a moment and reappear elsewhere. Then quickly place a bomb on his face and run away from holes in the floor. Five explosions should finish him off.
