This chapter of The Last of Us 2 guide is a part of the bestiary. In this chapter, you'll learn more about Stalkers. We explain what are stalkers, how they behave when they detect the player, how to avoid sudden attacks, and how to deal with them effectively.
Stalkers are a type of infected that can very easily be underestimated, resulting in unpleasant consequences. The stalkers hide and seek an opportunity to come out of hiding and attack by surprise.
These monsters only appear in selected locations and it is very advisable to move slowly and look sideways. If you're lucky, you can spot a stalker hiding and prepare to attack him or, for example, throw a bomb at his hideout.
Once a stalker comes out of hiding, it is best to quickly dispose of it using a shotgun or other powerful weapon.
Remember to dodge if a Stalker manages to approach you, as getting caught will result in a wrestle where you'll be gradually losing health points until you manage to shake him off. After each successful dodge, you can try to return with a melee attack.
