The Cycle features detailed graphics, both when it comes to the flora and fauna of the Fortuna III planet. It, however, does not require a high-end PC to run flawlessly and a large number of different video options allows for even more tweaking to run on older PCs.
Minimum system requirements
To enjoy comfortable gameplay (around 60 frames per second) at 720p resolution and graphics set to "Medium", you will need at least the following hardware:
- Operating system: Windows 7/8/10 (64bit)
- Processor: Intel Core i5 2,6 GHz / AMD equivalent
- RAM: 4 GB
- Video card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 / AMD Radeon 7950 (2GB)
- Hard drive: about 25 GB of free space
Note: it is recommended to install the game on SSD. The title does not require a lot of space and the game will run smoother, eliminating any stuttering.
Recommended requirements
To be able to enjoy smooth gameplay (60 frames per second) at 1080p resolution, with graphics set "Epic", you will need at least the following hardware:
- Operating system: Windows 10 (64bit)
- Processor: Intel Core i7 2,8 GHz / AMD Equivalent
- RAM: 8 GB
- Video card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 / Radeon RX 580 (6GB)
- Hard drive: about 25 GB of free space
Note: it is recommended to install the game on SSD. The title does not require a lot of space and the game will run smoother, eliminating any stuttering.
Our PC
The following guide is based on the PC version of the game and the gam was running on the following"
- Operating system: Windows 10 (64bit)
- Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3600
- RAM: 16GB
- Video card: GeForce GTX 970 (4GB)
- Hard drive: the game was installed on a fast SSD
- Note: the game was running at 1080p, with graphics set to "Epic". The game ran flawlessly, never going below 120 frames per second. After switching the FPS limit to 144, the game was able to maintain such smoothness all the time as well.
