The majority of the disciplines in The Crew 2 offer numerous vehicles. This can lead to problems with determining which vehicles are the best. Below you can find our recommendations for vehicles from the most important categories. We chose vehicles that can be bought right away without a need to, e.g. defeat a champion first. These are only our suggestions. The Crew 2 isn't a simulation game which means that you can use various vehicles and get good results with them. You can also upgrade vehicles that weren't great in the first place and make them perform better.

The best Street Race (SR) vehicle in The Crew 2

The highest perf level among all the SR vehicles belongs to Ducati Panigale R for about 460,000 bucks. This is a perfect vehicle for completing events. The bike is fast and has a great acceleration.

If for some reason (e.g. a higher risk of having an accident) you don't want to drive a bike then take a look at Ferrari F12 Berlinetta for 684,000 bucks. In theory, this vehicle should be in Hypercar category but the developers have decided to leave it in SR group. This Ferrari is very fast but it is more difficult in handling than Ducati and it costs more.

The best Drift (DF) car in The Crew 2

RUF CTR-3 for around 400,000 bucks dominates other Drift cars due to its high perf level. However, this vehicle is also much more problematic in handling.

RUF 3400 K for 360,000 bucks is an alternate choice. Its perf level is lower by 40 points but this car is easier in handling - this increases your chance at keeping the car on a track during more challenging Drift events that require a lot of precision.

The best Hypercar (HC) car in The Crew 2

As for the Hypercar category, the choice for the best car is obvious. It is Koenigsegg Regera, the most powerful and fastest car in the game. Sadly, you can get it in later parts of the game. Regera is the most expensive vehicle in The Crew 2 - it costs 1,701,700 bucks!

The best Touring Car (TC) car in The Crew 2

Pagani Zonda R isn't the most expensive Touring Car - it costs "only" 458,000 bucks. However, this vehicle has the highest perf level in this category. It is also easy in handling.

The best Rally Raid (RR) car in The Crew 2

The most important thing that you have to decide when you are choosing an RR vehicle is the number of wheels - 2 or 4. The best car is Peugeot 3008 DKR Maxi for 404,600 bucks. In theory, this vehicle can be received as a reward for reaching Icon 300 level. Don't bother with that because reaching this level will take you dozens of hours. Just collect the required amount of money and buy the vehicle.

The best RR bike is BMW R1200GS Adventure for 243,000 bucks. Notice that this bike is cheaper than Peugeot which means that you should be able to afford it much sooner. Take both Peugeot and BMW on a test drive and then decide which vehicle is better for you.

The best Rally Cross (RX) car in The Crew 2

Ford Focus RS RX from 2016 has the highest perf level among all Rally Cross vehicles. It "only" has one disadvantage - it costs much more than other cars from this category. Luckily, Rally Cross events are unlocked later in the career mode. This should give you more time to collect the required amount of money.

The best Powerboat (PB) boat in The Crew 2

Vector V40R is the fastest and the most powerful Powerboat in The Crew 2. You can try it in the introduction to Pro Racing category. Sadly, this boat costs 460,000 bucks. Use the starting boat that you get for free until you collect enough money to buy Vector.

The best Air Race (AR) plane in The Crew 2

Pilatus PC-21 costs about 500,000 bucks. Save up your money for this vehicle - it is better than the second-best plane in the game and has 10 more perf level points. Air Race category is unlocked later in the game which means that you won't start this category without the important plane.
