Can I sell vehicles in The Crew 2? The Crew 2 Guide and Walkthrough

Last update: 01 July 2018

Not all vehicles in The Crew 2 are useful - Can I sell vehicles in The Crew 2? - FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions - The Crew 2 Game Guide

Not all vehicles in The Crew 2 are useful. Some may additionally lose their usefulness if you come across better models within the same discipline. You may then wish to get rid of them and recover at least some of the bucks you've invested in them. Unfortunately, The Crew 2 doesn't have the option of selling vehicles or removing them in any other way from the garage.

What does it mean?

  1. The purchase of each vehicle should be thoroughly considered. If the machine selected for purchase is characterized by average performance, it is better to collect several dozen or several hundred additional bucks and buy a top car within a given class.
  2. It is not worth buying several vehicles from the same group. This is especially important early in the game, when you don't have a lot of money. There are several disciplines in the game and this means that if you want to participate in all of them, you must have several different vehicles.
  3. Don't buy a new vehicle if you already have a good one. Not all free vehicles you receive have good performance, but some may serve you for a long time or even be enough to overcome the champion of a given category. It is not worth buying new vehicles separately.
The Crew 2 also doesnt allow you to sell unnecessary parts that are obtained from loot boxes - Can I sell vehicles in The Crew 2? - FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions - The Crew 2 Game Guide

The Crew 2 also doesn't allow you to sell unnecessary parts that are obtained from loot boxes. Fortunately, in this case, it is possible to remove them from the list. After highlighting the part, you must hold the button responsible for destroying it. You will not receive any bucks for this, but the slot will be free. Try not to lead yourself into a situation where all the slots for a given category of parts (e.g. exhaust) are filled. In such case you will stop finding new parts of this type in subsequent loot boxes.

Destroy parts that are much worse than those currently used and, above all, all those marked with green color, as they don't offer any additional stat bonuses (e.g. faster nitro recovery or additional money).
