Who to send to Haernhold in The Bard's Tale 4? The Bard's Tale 4 Guide and Walkthrough

During the Hidden Hand quest, you will be asked to delegate one of the party members to Haernhold. This will cause the character to leave the team, so you need to choose wisely who you want to send away.

The options to choose from.

This decision depends on whether you created the character or kept the default one. If you decided to keep the default one, you will have one representative of each class at the time of making this decision. In this case you should send The Green Lady. Her role in the team will be taken over by Crux, whom you will recruit at the beginning of the next quest of the storyline.

If, however, you created your own character, the decision is a bit more difficult and depends on the class you selected. If you have chosen Bard as your character class, you should do as mentioned above. If, however, you selected a different class, you need to get rid of the character that occurs twice in your party. This is especially important when you have two Practitioners in your party. If you leave both of them and recruit Crux, you will have 3 Practitioners in a 4-man party. Due to the low health pools of the characters of that class, the combat difficulty will increase significantly in that situation.

Alternatively, you can exchange the Bard in your party for two Fighters. You will then have two very durable characters in your team, but you will also lose the abilities of the Bard that affect all of your party members and/or enemies on the battlefield.
