On this page of our game guide to Marvel's Avengers, you can find a detailed description of the fifth campaign mission. During this mission you will have an opportunity to learn the basics of combat while playing as Hulk, find some hidden chests and artifacts related to The Avengers. In the final part of this chapter you will have to fight with another boss, Abomination.

Follow the trial to Olympia Archive
Bruce Banner and Kamala Khan set off to the Olimpia archive in the hope of finding Jarvis. Traverse the forest until you finally reach the sealed entrance in the ground. As soon as you try to open the hatch, you'll be attacked.
Suddenly, AIM's soldiers will appear from below. They will enrage Bruce to the point that he turns into the Hulk. Opponents will be coming in waves but the first wave should not cause you any problems. In subsequent waves, stronger enemies will appear, such as enemies equipped with shields. You will have to use your Rage properly to avoid getting too many injuries and also break opponents' defensive stance with stronger attacks.
The last wave includes vanishing opponents who can dynamically change their positions on the cliffs all the time. You will have to avoid their ranged attacks (they inflict a lot of damage) and also throw boulders at them. After killing the last enemy, the rest of the AIM forces that remained in the ship will begin to evacuate.
Find Kamala
While Hulk was busy fighting enemy troops, Kamala has disappeared from his sight and now you will have to find her.
Run through the forest by jumping from a ledge to ledge and by using places where Hulk can grab onto walls with unique white marks.
A little further to the right you will notice a cracked wall. Use a reinforced heavy attack to smash it and you will find one chest behind it. Keep running forward until you finally reach Kamala.
Get to Olympia archive
After finding Kamala, you can continue your journey to the Olimpia archive in order to find Jarvis.
When you stand in front of the gate leading to the AIM facility you will have to break it down with a heavy attack. Keep moving forward and look around. You'll find two chests with some loot. The better silver one is located on the right side between the garbage.
Before entering the AIM complex, a welcome committee consisting of a dozen minor opponents will be awaiting you, as well as a few enemies with shields and soldiers armed with ranged weapons.
After you deal with the first waves of opponents on the balconies more units will appear. Use your ranged skill to throw a boulder at the red canisters. This will cause an explosion that can quickly eliminate the enemy forces. After a while, another squad of AIM troops will run out of the building. Eliminate all enemies, then destroy the door leading to the research facility.
In a nearby room, you'll have to break down four devices which were used to extract the Gamma experiment. Keep moving forward. Climb to the next levels of the building and fight enemy troops.
Once the AIM defence systems begin to hide the stairs connecting the next floors of the building you will have to grab onto the walls in order to get higher.
On the floor with a sign indicating the way to Etraction Terrigenesis, search for the cracked glass door. Break them down, then jump up and smash another door. Behind them you'll find a hidden chest with rare items.
On the top floor, you will have to defeat several opponents defending access to the main door leading to the lab. Larger enemies have strong attacks which cannot be blocked in any way. Also, they can block your punches. Break through their defensive stance by using a heavy attack and try to finish them off as quickly as possible. During combat, you have to pay extra attention to the turrets placed on the walls of the building. Activate Rage if necessary to restore some health of your hero.
After you enter the lab, there will be a soldier in a large exoskeleton on your way. The opponent, despite his large size, is quite easy to defeat - avoid his area of effect attacks and knock him down with a reinforced version of a heavy attack. This way you should quickly deal with him.
After the first fight, additional AIM units will begin to appear in the lab room. Special attention should be paid to the ranged units that will harass Hulk with attacks from the back. Also, another exoskeleton enemy will spawn.
When the enemy suddenly activates a gamma-ray cannon to "disable" Hulk, you'll have to run away. Run ahead, by smashing any obstacles along your way in order to complete this stage of the mission.
Find the power for the locked doors
Kamala manages to sneak between the enemy troops and reaches the point where you will have to try to restore power in the door leading to the archive.
First, jump on the cabinets on the right and open the Golden Chest, in which you'll find some rare-quality equipment. The second chest is located below.
Jump onto another platform, open a chest on a metal cabinet and try to activate a large-sized electronic device that stands below.
The device will start and lure AIM forces. Defeat all opponents. Jump to the spot where you started this task and activate the second computer.
You will re-activate the AIM's defensive systems. Thus, you will be surrounded by opponents. Enemy forces will also include drones and soldiers with ranged cannons. Also, there will be some enemies in teleportation suits among them. After the battle is over, launch the third computer and prepare for the next fight. This time there will be a lot of drones among your opponents. Try to knock them down quickly so that they won't interfere with your further fight. Once the room has been cleaned, go through the door leading to the archive.
During combat, you can try to knock enemies off the platforms to eliminate them immediately.
Search for Jarvis
Kamala manages to get to the AIM facility, restore power to the door leading to the archive and she is on her way to find Jarvis. As you explore the archive, take your time and try to interact with any items associated with The Avengers to learn more about their story.
Also, don't forget to move a heavy metal rack to the right of the entrance. You'll find a chest behind it with some precious loot.
A second well-hidden chest is located in the right side of the rear part of the room. The entrance to a small room is located between two metal cabinets.
Jarvis can be found in the further part of this room. He's behind a makeshift door made of cardboard. Look inside the dusty computer case and you'll find the data drive you need.
Defeat Abomination - boss fight
When Kamala manages to find Jarvis, she will be confronted by Abomination. You will have to confront this boss while playing as Hulk. During this duel, you will have to correctly use the Hulk's Rage ability to reduce the damage received, correctly avoid enemy punches, perform counter-attacks and efficiently use ranged attacks to defeat the opponent more quickly.
Abomination - first phase of the fight
In the first phase of the duel, focus on performing dodges at the right time and countering the incoming strikes of Abomination. When you notice an imminent attack, use your Rage to soften the incoming blow a little.
When a red icon appears above the head of the Abomination, it means that it's going to perform an attack from behind the head or prepares to charge at the opponent. Be prepared for this and dodge the attack or jump away at the right time. The opponent can also perform the same ranged attack as Hulk. Thus, if you keep your distance the enemy will definitely start throwing boulders at you.
Also, focus on destroying electrical devices when Abomination stands near them. Use a ranged attack, throw a boulder at the device, and the enemy will receive some damage. This will also confuse the Abomination and paralyze it for a while, giving you an opportunity to attack it for a short time.
Be careful, because exploding generators have a really large area of effect so you may not only get injured, but also become paralyzed and exposed to an attack. Make sure you're not standing in the red circle at the time of the explosion.
When a combination of buttons to perform a finishing move will appear above the head of the Abomination, then it's a sign that you are about to move on to the next phase of this boss fight.
Abomination - second phase of the fight
In the second phase of the boss fight, the Abomination will have new abilities that may impede your attacks.
The first new skill of Abomination is poison gas. Abomination creates clouds of poisonous gas on the ground that inflict damage over time. When your opponent uses this ability, simply don't stay near the poisonous cloud for longer time than necessary. Over time the toxic cloud will disperse itself.
If you want to fight while staying in the contaminated zone, it is a good idea to simply turn on the Hulk's Rage - this will regenerate some health. Also, you will be able to constantly damage your opponent.
The second new ability of Abomination is the attack from the air (by jumping). When you notice that your opponent is taking a quick and short run, and a red circle will appear on the ground, then it is a sign that the Abomination is about to jump into the air. Thus, try not to stand in the dangerous area and nothing bad will happen to you.
Avoid your opponent's attacks, activate Rage when you are about to receive damage, and perform counters. This way, you will be able to finish off your enemy. When your hero's health drops to a dangerous level try to collect healing items or smash one of the green containers.
