Keycards are one of the most important types of collectibles in System Shock Remake. On this page of the guide we supply a list of all Keycards appearing on The Citadel. Acquiring all of them will not only help you access certain areas but also help in completing the levels 100%.

Reach the Security deck and head to the northern area where you have to defeat a boss called Cyborg Degio. This time, the opponent will not disappear after you win the fight. Search the remains of the cyborg to find the keycard.

The keycard is available on the last deck - Bridge. You must defeat a boss called Cortex Reaver and then search the remains of the destroyed machine. You need the keycard to unlock the cyberspace terminal for the final duel with SHODAN.

The main use of Keycards is unlocking access to new areas - these may be mandatory (required for the main story to progress) or optional side rooms. When trying to open a locked door, the game may display a message in the upper left corner that a Keycard is required.

Some Keycards appear in a few instances but only one copy is required. Sometimes, they are different Keycards of the same category e.g. Group 1 and Group 3. In such cases, you should get one copy of each.

In the bottom right corner of the map, the abbreviations of names of carried Keycards will appear. Fortunately, Keycards don't take up inventory space.
