Collect the key from the coffer
Examine the coffer and pick up the key lying on the right.
While talking to the Junta, you can unlock the Loyalty achievement. If you betray Leni, you will unlock the Betrayal achievement the next time Dana talks to Leni. You can read more about it on a separate page of this guide: Trophies.
Hide the key
Examine a loose board in the floor, hide the key under it, and put the board down.
Take the key from Junta's hiding place
Click on Kate's icon in the upper left corner of the screen to switch characters. Examine the bedside area. Click on the cardboard box, then move it to the right. Pick up the board in the floor and take the key.
Unlock Junta's coffer
Walk over to the coffer and take Junta and Leni's film from it. Then examine Hans's sign to the right of the coffer. While holding down the left mouse button, move the plate with Hans's image on it and insert the key into the hole. Hold the key and turn it right.
Find the combination of the picture lock
Change the character to Dana Roze and enter the room behind the curtain. Take a look at Junta's photos. These 4 pictures show the combination to the coffer.
Change the character to Kate Walker and enter the correct code combination:
- goat,
- flower,
- mountains,
- tree.
Finally, take the viewer from the coffer.
Use the viewer
Pick up the take-up reel from the table in the attic. Approach the viewer again, insert Junta's film into the knob on the left, and the empty film reel into the knob on the right.
Lift the screen up. Grab Junta's film tape and drag it to the right side. When the tape slides into the player, put the screen down. If you have done everything correctly, a green light should come on. Finally, press the button and watch Junta's film.
Lift the screen and hold the knob on the left. Rewind the tape onto the film reel and insert Leni's film. Grab the tape and put it in the player. Put the screen down and press the button.
Discover Leni's film
As you watch Leni's film, examine:
- the camera and film on the table to the left of the screen,
- the room behind the curtain,
- the coffer.
When the camera rotates, hold down the left mouse button and, tilting it upward, go downstairs. Walk towards the stairs to the first floor. When the camera turns again, go straight ahead until you reach the mirror. Examine the mirror, approach the room and finally click on the half-open door.
