Syberia: The World Before features many puzzles, riddles or places and people to find. Some of them may sometimes be too difficult to complete. In these situations, the game offers short mini-hints. The hint icon - a question mark - is in the upper right corner of the screen.

When the orange bar around the hint icon fills up, you will hear a hint from the main character when you click on the icon. She'll usually remind you of a place or person you need to visit.

For more challenging puzzles, the hint icon will have several segments, which will give you several different hints. However, these will not be exact instructions of what you need to do, just suggestions on how to solve the puzzle or where to find the right item or access code.
