Name and description

Concrete - can be extracted from regolith deposits with a Concrete Extractor. It's your basic building material needed to build pretty much every building (apart from few exceptions).

Power - comes from cheap renewable sources - Wind Turbines, Solar Panels, and fissionable sources - Stirling Generators and Fusion Reactors. Produced energy is sent via cables, and can be stored in batteries.

Electronics - made from rare metals in Electronics Factories. You will use them for servicing devices in your colony. Factories can only be built inside of a dome.

Food - produced on farms and hydroponic farms inside a dome, or outside on fungal farms. You can grow different types of plants that will differ in terms of the growth cycles. Certain plants will also generate oxygen for your dome.

Fuel - produced out of CO2 at Fuel Refineries. Fuel is used to refuel rockets that fly back to Earth, produce polymers and vehicles in Shuttle Hubs.

Machine Parts - made out of metals in Machine Parts Factories. They are used to produce and maintain extractors.

Metal - can be easily found on the surface of Mars or beneath the earth. You will need Metals Extractors to extract the material. Metal is your basic building material, often used to maintain buildings.

Oxygen - Crucial for your colonists to survive on Mars. It can be generated with the use of MOXIES and certain plants. Similarly to water, oxygen is transported via pipes.

Polymers - can be found on the surface of the planet. Colonists can also produce them in Polymer Factories. The material is used to produce batteries, domes, spires, etc.

Rare metals - can only be found beneath the earth. You can extract them with Rare metals extractors, and use to produce Electronics. You can also export them back to Earth to get additional funding.

Water - generated via Moisture Vaporers and Water Extractors. It is transported via pipes. Water is essential for your colonists' survival, and can also be used as a resource to produce polymers and rocket fuel.
