Delta Island (Rocket Island) and Thermal Spires biome

Last update: 27 March 2021

In Subnautica: Below Zero, you can find locations that are above the sea level. One of them is Rocket Island, the upheaval of Thermal Spires. This chapter contains descriptions of both of these areas.

Thermal Spires

Thermal Spires is a very characteristic area. This biome with a depth of almost 300 meters is covered with heat-emitting thermal vents. This is a perfect place for a base powered by Thermal Plants.

This biome is rich in resources, e.g. Limestone Outcrop, Silver Outcrop and Lead Outcrop. You can find them in various canyons or on cliffs. You will also find a few plants here and there. However, these plants are only for powering a Bioreactor.

The only hostile species here is Boneshark. Avoid attacking them. If you deal damage to a Boneshark, it will chase you even after you leave the biome.

Rocket Island

Rocket Island is part of Thermal Spires. Alterra's base is on this island - the base is for sending probes to the station located on the planet's orbit. Here, you will find blueprints and a rocket platform. Besides that, you won't find anything interesting here.
