Subnautica: Bulb Zone - biome guide Subnautica Guide and Walkthrough

Last update: 27 March 2021

A biome located to the northeast of the map, near the Crash Zone, Mushroom Forest, and the Mountains. A part of the area is polluted by the radiation coming from the wreckage of the Aurora.

The zone is characterized by a large presence of Bulbo Trees - Subnautica: Bulb Zone - biome guide - Biomes - Subnautica Game Guide

The zone is characterized by a large presence of Bulbo Trees. It's a species that's exclusive to this biome, and you won't find it anywhere else on the map. That said, its only good for powering your electric grid. You won't find any other unique resources here, mainly sandstone, shale, and salt deposits.

The main threat in the area are Ampeels. They are very numerous in this biome and it's hard to avoid them. Additionally, you may encounter Bonesharks. This makes it a very dangerous biome.

Yet another zone with a unique flora species but nothing more than common resources. Bulbo Trees are useful pretty much only as a power source. Combined with the heavy presence of various predators, this biome is not very useful for players.
