Subnautica: Sparce Reef - biome guide Subnautica Guide and Walkthrough

This relatively small area is located southeast of the starting location. It borders on Grassy Plateaus and Blood Kelp Caves. The area closest to the starting location is covered with rock spires. The rest of the biome is covered by plains. The maximum depth in this biome is roughly 300 meters.

There are few resources here. The spires are covered in limestone. The plain parts of the area are mostly arid. There are no plants here, except for small amounts of Table Coral. You will find large amounts of salt though. There are also several wreckages in the area, from which you can acquire fragments of recipes.

The biome has a cave complex, which, compared to the rest of the biome, is abundant with flora, useful to keep your bioreactor running. You'll also find here deposits of quartz and limestone.

The area is relatively safe. Only in its most southern parts can you encounter Warpers. Their behavior, however, is dependant on the infection level of your character.
