Bonus objective - the dagger | Mission 4 - That Which is Hidden Styx: Shards of Darkness Guide

Once you are in the main building in front of the door to the refinery, you can go lower, to the second level (there is only one guard there). When you go down there, a new mission objectives will appear - a hidden switch in the bookcase. Walk up to it and a secret passage will open.

Inside there is a puzzle: you have to press the statues in the correct order to compose a coherent description of the ritual. The sequence looks like in the illustration above. Once that is complete, the grate in the passage will be removed and you will see a dagger. There will be three worms protecting it, wait at the gate, because the first two should get out from there. Then take the weapon.

The Tapered Dagger, in order to use it, take it into your equipment by using the wardrobe in your hideout. It has the following features:

• Bonus: muffles the sound of all ground kills,
• Penalty: the blade is too fragile to parry enemies - so at the Goblin level, where you would not have such an ability anyway, you receive a free bonus.
