In Steel Division 2 the mouse is the most important controller for handling the game, because most of the commands are given with the use of it. However, it is worth to know at least some of the keyboard shortcuts and important Steel Division 2 key bindings, because they will make it easier for you to play the game.
Steel Division 2 - PC Controls
 | Move camera |
 | the camera will automatically move to the last important spot, e.g. a taken strategic point or a destroyed unit. |
 | Turn on the Field of View tool |
 | Information about the unit |
 | Arming/disarming |
 | Stop (stop the movement of a unit or stop firing) |
 | scatter; the marked units will move away from each other in a short distance |
| Effective Fire Mode |
| Assigning units to a group After pressing the corresponding number, the specified group will be automatically selected. |
 | Response with Fire mode |
 | enable/disable automatic search mode for cover; this is a command for infantry and cannons |
 | shoot at the desired position; useful command mainly for artillery, if you have an overlap about enemy troops presence |
 | fast movement; units will use the quickest possible route, use roads if possible |
 | Unload the transport |
 | Unload at the indicated position |
 | Use grenades, projectiles, smoke ammunition in the indicated position |
 | Move backwards; useful for tanks to face enemies and slowly turn back to a safer position. |
 | Retreat; units will rush to escape - this is the only order that can be given to units under fire |
 | Evacuation; this is an order for planes to leave the battlefield immediately. |
