Despite scary look, Emperor Palpatine has some quite useful combat abilities. He is well suited for close and medium range combat. His main weapon is lightning electrifying the enemies.

Abilities

Chain Lightning

In addition to the lightning that is the basic weapon of the character, he has also an ability that makes the enemies conduct the lightning, allowing the lightning to hit few of them at once.

Force Dash

Allows you to move quickly few meters ahead. Useful when you want to escape from the battlefield.

Imperial Resources

This ability gives additional power to nearby allied soldiers. Additionally, a health resource appears in the place where the skill was used. The resource can be also picked by other heroes in the "Heroes vs Villains" mode.

Passive ability

Passive abilities don't have to be activated manually as they are permanently active. In case of this character, it allows one of the players of the team to respawn on the character as a member of the honor guard. He will have a heavy blaster, homing missile and rocket launcher. Additionally, he deals more damage and has heavier armor than regular troops.

Advices

The tactic that works the best when playing as this character is quick attack and escape. On medium distance, when you don't know whether the enemies are behind the corner, lurk ahead, hit few enemies with lightning and escape. If needed, use special abilities.
