Expand the line of bunkers and turrets just below the ramps. Zerg will attack sporadically but can cause you many problems.
The lower part of the base should also be secured with additional bunkers in front of the bridge and on the hill toward the road to the west.
The lower part of the base should also be secured with additional bunkers in front of the bridge and on the hill toward the road to the west.
After defeating the Protoss in the area, you can build additional buildings here. You will soon run out of space for additional buildings in the main base. You can set a minimum defense here. You will be training here troops to fight against the Protoss. In addition, in the west you will find deposits of gas and minerals.
You will encounter small groups of Protoss when you march on the southern enemy base.
Set up the tanks in front of the ramp so you can shoot most buildings and units inside the base. Remember about support in the form of infantry / air. After repelling the defenders counterattack, start slowly destroying the rest of the buildings.
The western hill is ideal for army landing. This place protects about 4-8 Protoss units. Then you can hit the enemy's production buildings and enter the base.
Assault on the Nexus through ramps is quite dangerous. The attack will have to consist of a large group of units. The enemy has a lot of defenders over the ramp and will generate additional units from nearby production buildings.
The east side of the hill is hardly defended and looks like a very good place to drop troops. Going towards the base, you will hit a narrow passage, which can be a difficult moment of the battle. After crossing this point, you still have to destroy the Nexus and the rest of the buildings.

Mission objectives:

  1. Destroy the protoss force;
  2. All zerg buildings must survive;
  3. Kerrigan must survive.

The Confederates fight the zerg on the planet's surface. The protoss arrive again but instead of bombarding the planet, they decide for a land assault. Mengsk is afraid that this will let the Confederation escape the planet. He sends Kerrigan to defend the zerg and destroy the protoss forces.

You cant destroy the zerg base so place a strong defensive line around the starting position. - Mission 9 - New Gettysburg | Terrans | Campaign Walkthrough - Terrans - StarCraft: Remastered Game Guide
You can't destroy the zerg base so place a strong defensive line around the starting position.

Your base is located in a very unfortunate position. To the north and west are hills with zerg bases and troops. From time to time, they will attack from the ramp's side or land their units in various places around your base. Build Bunkers around the base, especially in front of the aforementioned ramp and at the bottom of the base, before the bridge. Don't forget about a dense network of Turrets. Another problem is the scarce space in your base. You can expand behind the bridge but this forces you to extend the defensive line, as well. In the center part of the map, you will find few protoss units. If you defeat them, you can place some of your production buildings there. If you go left, you will find extra deposits of gas and minerals.

Having expanded the base, create at least one squad of tanks and infantry. Ghosts and Nuclear Missiles are especially useful in this mission. You can also build a full squadron of Battlecruisers that will decimate any alien threat. Having developed the Yamato Cannon, you will be able to destroy hostile Turrets and then finish the infantry off. The protoss units have more hit points and special protective shields. Killing them is harder than killing the zerg or terrans. However, their units are more expensive and their training takes more time.

Destroy the weaker base in the south. Two full groups of mechs and tanks should do it without any problem. The tanks will attack from the hill, which will give them an advantage. - Mission 9 - New Gettysburg | Terrans | Campaign Walkthrough - Terrans - StarCraft: Remastered Game Guide

Once you've gathered an adequate army and fortified your position, march to the southern enemy base. You will encounter 2-3 groups of the protoss on your way. The base in the bottom right corner is smaller, has little defenders, and is located in the lowland. It is enough to lead your tanks and their support team and annihilate the enemy base. Once destroyed, the protoss attacks will intensify.

Carry out a landing on one of the two hills on which the northern protoss base is located. Destroy the Turrets with the Yamato Cannon and the rest of the buildings and units with your tanks. - Mission 9 - New Gettysburg | Terrans | Campaign Walkthrough - Terrans - StarCraft: Remastered Game Guide
Carry out a landing on one of the two hills on which the northern protoss base is located. Destroy the Turrets with the Yamato Cannon and the rest of the buildings and units with your tanks.

There are three paths to destroy the base in the top right corner of the map. The first one is an air landing on the upper hill. This place is defended by several Dragoons, a kind of a ranged unit. Bring your air force to clear out the landing zone for the transporters. The middle path is a mass land assault but you risk serious casualties. The hill in the bottom is defended by a smaller group of soldiers and leads to the enemy Command Center. Finally, you have to eliminate the remainder of hostile units and buildings. If it seems too difficult, bombard the area with Nuclear Missiles.

Having destroyed the last unit/building of the protoss, the zerg will launch a frontal assault that you cannot repel. Mission accomplished!
