The character creation screen

Before you start a new adventure, you need to create your character that you will be crossing the boundless galaxy as. You only need to select one of the game modes (Single player or Multiplayer), and click the empty character slot. This way, you will be transferred to the character creation screen.

While creating your character, you can select one of the 6 available races. Your avatar's looks and the starting clothes. Then, you need to enter the name and select one of the difficulty levels: Normal, Hardcore or Permadeath. Finally, you need to lick Ok and select the slot with the newly-created character to enter the game.
