This chapter contains descriptions of all 14 available heroes (some of them need to be unlocked with Credits). The first seven heroes represent the Light Side and the rest comes from the Dark Side. Heroes can be used in Galactic Assault (however, they are very pricey in that mode - about 6,000-8,000 battle points) or you can play as them freely in Heroes vs Villains mode. Both modes have a restriction: only one version of a given hero can be present on a map.

Luke Skywalker

This hero is irreplaceable in open maps where you can push enemies into abyss. Sadly, weak force abilities make him difficult to use against other heroes. However, Luke can deal with small groups of troopers that are inside rooms. While facing an enemy hero you should start with Repulse and then use Force Push.

Profile:

1. High amount of health: 700 points,
2. Moderate mobility,
3. Has two push force abilities that don't deal a lot of damage.

Weapon: Lightsaber

Abilities:

1. Force Push: Luke can push enemies back. Can be used in midair!
2. Repulse: Luke deals damage to nearby enemies but he needs a moment to charge this attack.
3. Rush: Luke increases his speed and leaps forward to attack. However, you won't deal a lot of damage.

Star Cards

Rush Immunity	After using Rush, Luke becomes more resistant to damage for 3 seconds.
Jedi Reflexes	Perform an additional (third) Rush at a cost of a slightly longer recharge time.
Strong Repulse	Increases Repulse range.
Jedi Fighter	Attack and defense consume less stamina.
Deflection Mastery	An increased deflection precision when you are aiming at an enemy who is shooting at you with a blaster (drains more stamina).
Cleansing the Darkness	Get health points for each defeated enemy. Its amount depends on the ability's level.
Stronger Push	Push has a greater knockback.
Extend Push Reach	Push has a greater reach.
Epicenter	Repulse deals damage to enemies who stand within half of the ability's radius. Worth combining with Strong Repulse.

Leia Organa

A rather weak heroine. She serves as more a supporter. Very weak at a close range, has almost no chances against other heroes.

Profile:

1. Moderate amount of health: 650 points,
2. Low mobility,
3. Her pistol shoots with bursts (2 shots per burst) and lets you shoot 17 accurate bursts. Reload button is used for loading an explosive round that moves slowly towards its target.

Weapon: Defender Pistol

Abilities:

1. Flash Grenade: A grenade that blinds enemies upon exploding.
2. Rapid Fire: Switch your pistol with an enhanced E-11 blaster and use it for 30 seconds.
3. Squad Shield: Place a device on ground that emits a shield (similar to the one used by Officer class). Protects you from Force powers and lightsabers.

Star Cards

Optimized Shield Deployment	Squad Shield has a shortened recharge time.
Shield Durability	Squad Shield has now an increased durability.
High Spirit	Leia can regenerate more health, even up to 100%. A highly recommended card.
Blinded	A Flash Grenade's effect lasts longer.
Blinding Reveal	Enemies blinded by a Flash Grenade become temporarily revealed to Leia.
Rebel Heart	Leia receives less damage while using Rapid Fire.
Relentless Firing	Rapid Fire works for an extended period.
For The Rebellion	You get health back for each killed enemy (should be used along with High Spirit).
Laser Brain	The alternate fire mode (explosive rounds) deals more damage.

Han Solo

Usually, this hero works better as a support. However, if your accuracy is good and you know how to use this hero - then he can eliminate powerful enemies alone. You can lure enemies who already lost a little bit of health to a Detonite charge attached to a wall/floor. Try to lure enemies to Detonite traps. It is better to reload your weapon rather than overheating it. Don't let enemies get close to you - Han has almost no chances in melee combat.

Profile:

1. Moderate amount of health: 600 points,
2. Low mobility,
3. Han has a pistol with low rate of fire that can shoot 8 rounds. His shots deal a lot of damage and have great accuracy. While shooting at enemies that are far away you should consider time required for a projectile to reach its target.

Weapon: DL-44 Blaster Pistol

Abilities:

1. Detonite Charge: Han throws an explosive charge that can stick to a surface and can be detonated whenever you want. Deals a lot of damage and pushes enemies back.
2. Sharpshooter: Han can fire his pistol rapidly for a few seconds, the weapon doesn't overheat, enemies move very slow (a second click deactivates this mode).
3. Shoulder Charge: Han runs forward and knocks down a first enemy that he comes across. This move also knocks that enemy back which can also push that enemy from a map. He runs for a few seconds and the ability has a fast recharge - you can also use it for escaping.

Heavily Modified Blaster	Han's pistol builds up less heat.
Sharpshooting Frenzy	Each killed enemy shortens Sharpshooter's recharge time.
All In	Each killed enemy shortens Shoulder Charge's recharge time.
Broad Shoulders	You get less damage while using Shoulder Charge.
Sharpshooter Calm	Sharpshooter has a longer duration.
Keep Your Head Cool	A headshot kill with Sharpshooter active reduces overheating.
Air Burst	Detonite Charge detonated in the air deals more damage (that number isn't high: 10 - 20%)
Big Bang	Detonite Charge detonated 5 seconds after it was attached to a surface (as a trap) has an increased explosion radius.
Head Games	Score 3 headshots in a row to recharge all abilities (your shots don't have to kill enemy/enemies).

Chewbacca

The hero liked by many players. He uses a Bowcaster. Can charge his shot or shoot rapidly with a scatter shot or have a more focused type of fire. Great for short and medium distance.

Profile:

1. Moderate amount of health: 650 points,
2. Low mobility
3. Has a Bowcaster that can attack multiple enemies thanks to scatter shots.

Weapon: Bowcaster

Abilities:

1. Shock Grenade: An energy grenade that can electrocute enemies and has a radius of 7 meters.
2. Furious Bowcaster: Chewie's weapon doesn't overheat and he overcharges his Bowcaster to shoot fully-charged shots for a certain amount of time.
3. Charge Slam: Runs towards an enemy and, when you press the ability button again, he hits the ground with his fists. This ability deals medium damage and knocks enemies off their feet.

Star Cards

Echoing Roar	While Furious Bowcaster is active, each kill extends this ability's duration.
Furious Resilience	While using Furious Bowcaster you get a little bit less damage from blasters.
Extended Shock	Shock Grenade electrocutes enemies for a longer duration at a cost of a longer recharge.
Multi-Shock	Shock Grenade splits into more parts and has an increased shocking radius.
Charging Frenzy	You get less damage while using Charge Slam.
Wookiee Berserker	Melee attacks deal more damage.
Bonus Health	Increases Chewie's health. A very useful card.
Shocked And Vulnerable	Enemies that were hit with Shock Grenade become more vulnerable to damage.
Slammed	Charge Slam deals more damage to enemies that are within half the radius of its blast.

Lando Calrissian

Many players simply laugh at this hero. However, he isn't that weak. His Disabler is especially good - an enemy that gets in its reach (also a hero) becomes an easy target. Can also be used for stopping enemies during escape.

Profile:

1. Moderate amount of health: 650 points,
2. Low mobility,
3. A very accurate pistol with a great rate of fire, 15 rounds,
4. Scope has a night vision.

Weapon: X-8 Night Sniper

Abilities:

1. Smoke Grenade: Sadly, this ability has low efficiency - it creates a smoke screen that can only be a hindrance to snipers or other units shooting at you from afar.
2. Sharp Shot: Activate this ability, mark up to five enemies (a red crosshair appears above a target's head - you can't run) and press the key ability key again or shoot to unleash a quick series that deals a lot of damage to those targets (these shots can be deflected by a lightsaber).
3. Disabler: A small device that Lando sticks to a wall or a floor. Reveals nearby enemies and points their positions to you and your allies. Press the ability key again to overcharge the device and electrocute everyone near it.

Star Cards

Lingering Smoke	Smoke Grenade has a longer duration.
Welcome to Cloud City	Smoke created by Smoke Grenade is larger and thicker.
Disabler Lifetime	Disabler works for a longer period until it detonates automatically.
Disabler Growth	Disabler's area of effect growths bigger over the course of 5 seconds after deploying it.
Quick Shock	Detonating Disabler within 5 seconds after its deployment deals more damage and electrocutes enemies for a longer period of time. A good upgrade for PvP fights.
Wide Eyed	Increases Sharp Shot range. A great card if you are using this ability.
Maximized Efficiency	Sharp Shot's recharge is shortened if you hit at least 3 targets with that ability.
In The Zone	Disabled overheat lasts longer when perfectly cooling your weapon.
Hot and Cold	Increases Lando's maximum health.

Rey

One of the favorite characters, mainly because of her Mind Trick ability. Has a lightsaber that she can use for both defeating enemies and deflecting blaster shots.

Profile:

1. High amount of health: 750 points,
2. High mobility,
3. A champion of PvP fights.

Weapon: Lightsaber

Abilities:

1. Dash Strike: Rey charges with hear lightsaber and deals damage to all who stand in her way. Can knock down weaker units. This charge can't be canceled. A very useful attack.
2. Insight: Rey senses her surroundings and reveals all nearby enemies to her (white outlines around characters, visible through walls).
3. Mind Trick: Rey dazes and confuses nearby enemies - this effect lasts for about 5 seconds. Players within the ability's radius get their controls inverted, they can't use some abilities and can't run. Thanks to this ability you can win almost all fights.

Star Cards

Far Sight	Insight has an increased area of effect.
Focused Sight	Insight has an increased duration.
Street Fighter	Rey's melee attacks drain less stamina.
Survivor	Each defeated enemy gives you health.
Strong Mind	Mind Trick has an increased area of effect.
Deep Mind	Mind Trick used on enemies revealed with Insight lasts longer. This card is recommended for PvP fights.
Opportunist	Deal more damage to enemies that have negative effects inflicted on them (e.g. blind, shock or Mind Trick). A useful card, especially when combined with Deep Mind.
Resilient Dash	You get less damage while using Dash Strike.
Damaging Strike	Rey will deal more damage with Dash Strike for each target.

Yoda

Yoda is small which means that he is more difficult to hit with a blaster. However, he has a very unique combat system that may not be to everyone's liking. By pressing the aiming button Yoda can block attacks but he doesn't use his lightsaber. Instead, he does that with his bare hand. This can let you charge Unleash ability but also absorb enemy attacks to shorten the ability's charge time. Yoda can also do that to attacks that weren't aimed at him. He is the best support hero (defending others from attacks, healing).

Weapon: Lightsaber

Abilities:

1. Unleash: Yoda unleashes Force in front of him which pushes enemies back and deals them damage. Hold the aim button to charge this ability (absorbing enemy blaster shots reduces charge time).
2. Presence: Yoda heals himself and nearby allies (additional 200 health points, can even heal more than a maximum amount of health).
3. Dash Attack: Yoda jumps forward and swings his lightsaber to damage enemies that stand in his way. Very efficient.

Star Cards

Earned It I Have	Absorb blaster shots while defending to increase Unleash radius. This ability is useful in Galactic Assault.
Unleashed	Unleash has an increased area of effect.
Master Of The Force	Unleash deals additional damage after reaching the maximum area of effect.
Enduring Presence	Presence lasts longer.
Feel The Force	You get additional bonus health after activating Presence.
Agility	Perform an additional Dash Attack at a cost of a longer recharge time of this ability.
Lightsaber Mastery	Attacks drain less stamina.
Opposing The Dark Side	Yoda's lightsaber deals more damage to villains (efficient only in PvP fights).
Jedi Mentor	Yoda receives less overall damage.

Boba Fett

Boba's weapon shoots in bursts of 3 rounds, up to 10 until it gets overheated (a rather weak weapon). Works on short and medium distance. The most mobile character in the game thanks to his jetpack. The main strategy is to get up high to avoid enemy shots and attack them from behind. Thanks to his jetpack, Boba can perform instant dodges.

Profile:

1. Low amount of health: 450 points.
2. Aim button doesn't work like it does with other characters - it activates his jetpack that lets you stay in the air for 5 seconds (you can control him in midair). Thanks to that the hero gets a lot of mobility.
3. This hero shows his full potential in open maps, he isn't suited for combat in narrow rooms and corridors.

Weapon: EE-3 Carbine Rifle

Affiliation: Bounty Hunter

Abilities:

1. Concussion Rocket: Boba shoots a rocket that dazes enemies. Blaster Disabler can also add an extra effect of overheating target's weapon.
2. For The Hunt: Boba Fett disappears from enemies' radars, his jetpack gets an unlimited fuel and he knows where nearby enemies are. A perfect ability for infiltrating enemies. Duration: 10 seconds.
3. Rocket Barrage: Fett shoots small rockets (6 of them) from his wrist in a rapid succession.

 

Star Cards

Information Sharing	For The Hunt reveals enemies to your allies, too.
Extended Exposure	For The Hunt reveals enemies for a longer duration.
Acute Concussion	Concussion Rocket's effect lasts longer.
Blaster Disabler	Overheats enemy's weapon immediately. You can also overheat your weapon too if you stand in the ability's range.
Quick Refill	Jetpack recharges faster when it is not in use. This ability is useful to those who rely on Fett's mobility.
Fuel Efficiency	Jetpack depletes fuel slower. This ability is useful to those who rely on Fett's mobility.
Death From Above	Receive less damage when you are using jetpack and Rocket Barrage. This card isn't recommended - it is difficult to fulfill the requirements and to receive significant damage at the same time.
Intense Barrage	Rocket Barrage shoots faster and sends more rockets (1 to 5 rockets, depending on a level). A very good card.
Anti-Hero Rockets	Rocket Barrage deals more damage to enemy heroes. Useful in PvP fights.

Bossk

Bossk is very versatile and cunning. He uses a shotgun (8 rounds, repeater) that works on short and medium distance (2x zoom while aiming). He can use proximity mines on incoming enemies. You can hide in Dioxis clouds from enemies that use melee attacks (the gas won't hurt you).

Profile:

1. Moderate amount of health: 600 points,
2. Hold the jump button to leap a little bit higher,
3. A versatile hero - works great in both small rooms and open maps that have a small or a huge number of enemies, at a short and medium distance.

Weapon: Relby V-10

Affiliation: Bounty Hunter

Abilities:

1. Dioxis Grenade: A grenade that releases a cloud of a deadly gas. Its effect is delayed and when it starts working, it reduces health of those who stand in its wide proximity. Great for blocking a passage temporarily, e.g. while you are guarding a point. Less experienced players often won't notice this gas and will die near your grenade.
2. Predator Instinct: Bossk gets stronger and faster, he also receives thermal vision (can see through walls) for about 10 seconds. While using this ability his weapon changes into a grenade launcher that shoots rounds that explode after 3 seconds or when they hit enemies (these explosions take about 50%+ health of regular troopers).
3. Proximity Mines: Three sticking mines that can be detonated on demand or when someone gets closer to them. Only one set can be deployed at once (when you place another one after recharging the ability then the first one will disappear). They have a rather big delay when detonated automatically.

 

Star Cards

Spreading The Disease	Dioxis Grenade's cloud is bigger and thicker (it hurts enemies faster and grants you a better smoke screen).
Lingering Dioxis	The gas emitted by Dioxis Grenade lasts longer.
Trap Arming Speed	Proximity Mines are armed and activated faster. A recommended card - the mines' slow activation time is their main disadvantage.
Multi-Traps	You can place 5 instead of 3 Proximity Mines. Thanks to that you can deal more damage on a wider range.
Name Your Poison	Your health regenerates while you are standing in a cloud created by Dioxis Grenade. A good ability, especially when combined with Lingering Dioxis.
Unrelenting Predator	You can regenerate health by defeating an enemy while Predator Instinct is active.
Sniper Expert	Headshots disable Bossk's weapon from overheating for a short period.
Ultimate Predator	Each kill done while using Predator Instinct extends the ability's duration.
Predator Resilience	You get less damage while using Predator Instinct.

Darth Vader

One of the best heroes thanks to his resistance and optimized abilities. However, Vader's mobility is slightly worse than that of other heroes. The best way to attack him is to use traps (e.g. Lando's Disabler). Focused Rage lets him win almost all melee duels with other heroes.

Profile:

1. The biggest amount of health: 900 points,
2. Moderate mobility (Vader can't jump as high as others but he can stay in the air for a longer period),
3. Hold the aim button to deflect blaster shots with your lightsaber (they can be deflected back to a player who was shooting at you).

Weapon: Lightsaber

Abilities:

1. Lightsaber Throw: Vader throws his lightsaber at enemies and deals massive damage. The lightsaber can also damage enemies while it is going back to Vader's hand.
2. Focused Rage: Darth Vader can sustain and deal more damage. This effect lasts a few seconds. Activate it if you are sure that you are about to have a PvP fight.
3. Choke: Vader uses his iconic Force Choke ability to lift, damage and then drop his enemy. Keep pressing the attack button while your enemy is in the air to deal damage. To escape from Vader's grip, you have to keep pressing jump button. This ability doesn't deal a lot of damage, it is mainly for immobilizing enemies and making them an easy target to others. You can move your enemies while you are choking them - try to throw them off a map.

Fueling The Rage	Each enemy killed while Focused Rage is active extends the ability's duration.
Furious Resilience	Receive less damage while using Focused Rage. A very useful card.
Bonus Health	Increases your maximum health points. The high amount of health points is this hero's strong point and because of that you should improve it even further.
Dark Lord	You receive health points for each killed enemy. You should buy and upgrade this card to use Vader's resistance to the fullest (after a while your health regeneration will be limited).
Deflection Stamina	Deflecting blaster shots depletes less stamina.
There Is No Escape	Lightsaber Throw has an increased range.
Intensified Lightsaber Throw	Lightsaber Throw deals more damage while it is going back to Vader's hand. You should combine it with There Is No Escape card.
Punishing Grip	Enemies have a harder time escaping from Choke.
Last Gasp	You deal more damage while using Choke on at least two enemies.

Emperor Palpatine

Contrary to appearances, this is a rather weak hero. His main enemies are ranged units because he can't defend himself from them. His lightning deals rather low damage. The best way to use this attack is to shoot it while you are jumping over enemies.

Profile:

1. Moderate amount of health: 650 points,
2. Hold the jump button to jump higher than others. Palpatine is more mobile than the other heroes - he descends slower which means that he can stay longer in the air.
3. Palpatine doesn't use any traditional weapons. Instead, he attacks with Force Lightning which has a short reach and deals a small amount of damage. You can increase its efficiency greatly by pressing the aim button repeatedly (Palpatine will attack with his second hand). However, this quickly depletes his stamina and will render him unable to attack.

Weapon: Force Lightning

Abilities:

1. Chain Lightning: A burst of lightning that hits a target and then spreads on nearby enemies. Great in open maps. Long reach.
2. Dark Aura: The Emperor charges air around him with Force which hurts and slows down everyone who gets closer to him. This ability lasts a few seconds. You should move around after activating it. This aura can also hurt enemies while you are in the air. Needs a little bit of time to be activated.
3. Electrocute: Palpatine immobilizes enemies that are standing in front of him with lightning. His best attack.

Star Cards

Forked Lightning	Electrocute has an increased area of effect.
Prime Electrocution	Electrocute immobilizes enemies for a longer period if the ability is used on at least 3 targets.
Amplified Aura	Dark Aura deals more damage if there are 3 or more enemies within its range.
Growing Darkness	Dark Aura grows larger and larger for as long as it stays active.
Lightning Absorption	Each target that was hit with Chain Lightning heals Palpatine slightly.
Surge of Lightning	Chain Lightning can damage more targets (1-4 more, depending on the upgrade's level).
The Rule Of Two	Enemies hit with Electrocute receive more damage when you attack them with two hands.
Lightning Reach	The basic lightning attack has now an increased reach.
In Full Control	Attacks deplete less stamina. A mandatory card for this character.

Kylo Ren

A well-balanced hero. He has high mobility and good abilities for PvP fights and battles with regular troopers in Galactic Assault. When you are facing other heroes, you can start with Freeze and then use Frenzy to quickly reach your enemy.

Profile:

1. Great amount of health: 750 points,
2. Hold the jump button to jump much higher,
3. Kylo uses a lightsaber - attack enemies with melee attacks (2 hits are enough to kill them),
4. Hold the aim button to deflect blaster shots with your lightsaber (they can be deflected back to a player who was shooting at you).

Weapon: Lightsaber

Abilities:

1. Pull: Kylo Ren pulls enemies towards him. This ability has a range of a few meters. Enemies receive quiet a lot of damage and they fall on the ground.
2. Frenzy: Kylo Ren jumps from an enemy to enemy and swings his lightsaber at them. This ability isn't always working as you though it would but its recharge time is very short. This means that you can even use it to leap towards a single enemy.
3. Freeze: Kylo Ren paralyzes enemies that stand in front of him for about 3 seconds and makes them unable to make any moves. It doesn't deal any damage.

Closing In	Frenzy lets you leap a longer distance.
Bloodlust	You can strike more times with Frenzy.
Total Control	Freeze lasts longer when it was used on at least 3 enemies.
Solid Freeze	Freeze has an increased reach.
Harsh Pull	Pull deals damage. A useful card.
Power Reach	Pull has an increased reach.

Darth Maul

Maul's main nemesis are snipers. He can't do anything to protect himself from blaster shots. Use Spin Attack when you are fighting with a marksman 1vs1. This will let you get behind enemy's back. Remember to use the aim button to perform quick and agile dodges.

Profile:

1. High mobility, good amount of health: 700 points,
2. Hold the jump button to jump much higher,
3. Darth Maul uses a double-bladed lightsaber - his attacks are much faster than those of heroes who use a single-bladed lightsaber.
4. Hold the aim button to perform an attack in a straight line.

Weapon: Double-bladed Lightsaber

Abilities:

1. Furious Throw: Maul throws his lightsaber in a straight line which deals damage to all who stand in its way.
2. Choke Hold: Maul chokes a few enemies who stand close to each other. After that he throws those enemies on the ground.
3. Spin Attack: Maul performs a really fast spin with his lightsaber and eliminates everyone who stand in his way (reach: about 10 meters in a straight line).

Star Cards

Ranged Throw	Furious Throw has an increased reach.
Accelerated Throw	Furious Throw deals more damage.
Forceful Thrust	Choke Hold throws enemies even further back.
Thrown To Slow	Choke Hold deals more damage if you use it on at least 2 enemies.

Iden Versio

Iden is great for open maps and serves mainly as a sniper. Droid Shield lets you retreat safely when you get surprised by enemies. She can fight on short and medium distance. However, you have to watch out for her health. Despite of that she is a good hero and she can be recommended for both PvP and Galactic Assault modes.

Profile:

1. Moderate amount of health: 550 points,
2. Low mobility,
3. Basic weapon: a mid-range blaster rifle with great rate of fire (30 rounds); zooming in: grenade launcher (6 rounds). Additional weapon: Pulse Cannon (ability).

Weapon: Iden's TL-50

Abilities:

1. Stun Droid: Iden's droid can stun and deal a small amount of damage to enemies that are in front of it. Stun effect can chain on nearby targets. A good way to use it is to deploy the droid when you are hiding behind a cover.
2. Pulse Cannon: Switch your weapon to a sniper rifle equipped with a scope for an unlimited time. Each shot requires charging - the more you charge, the better the damage. In order to shoot you have to charge your shot to at least a half. You can't sprint in Pulse Cannon mode.
3. Droid Shield: Iden's droid creates a shield around her. It can withstand a lot of damage from blasters but it won't protect you from lightsabers.

Pulse Cannon Mastery	An enemy hit with Pulse Cannon is revealed on the radar to you and your allies.
Alternative Methods	You can use the alternate fire mode more frequently (explosive rounds).
Sturdy Shields	Increases Droid Shield's resistance.
