Battle points are received during the game. You get them for performing various actions: attacking (damage dealt = number of points), damage multiplier, destroying vehicles, completing mission objectives, helping other players and even dying.

Use your battle points during a respawn and unlock a hero or a vehicle.

While respawning you can change your class but you can also select a hero or a vehicle that you want to use next. This is the moment in which you spend your battle points. The better you are, the sooner you can use these bonuses. However, you should notice that each map has a limit for how many vehicles and heroes can be used at the same time (also, there can't be two the same heroes on one map); also, some of them require you to unlock them first... Each mode has different vehicles/heroes/support classes.
