Best stance

Cal at any given time can have 2 stances at the ready and use one of them. Our recommendations are:

  1. Dual Wield- This stance will allow you to make a series of quick attacks. Its added advantage is easier automatic pairing thanks to the focused pairing skill (this does not include red attacks).
  2. Crossguard - This is the ideal posture for mounting very powerful attacks. They are slow, so this will only work on selected types of enemies and in situations where the enemy has been stunned.

We discuss all 5 attitudes in more detail below.

It's a stance for making quick attacks, but the range is severely reduced. It's also worth using the very useful focused pairing (hold down Triangle / Y), which is capable of automatically deflecting enemies' regular attacks.

  2. pressing X and C while playing on the keyboard.

Improving stances

Each stance has its own separate skill tree and you can buy more by spending 1 or more skill points on them - Star Wars Jedi Survivor: Lightsaber combat stances - Basics - Star Wars Jedi Survivor guide

Each stance has its own separate skill tree and you can buy more by spending 1 or more skill points on them.

With items from the development trees, you can unlock new moves for a given stance (e.g. a new way for the block to work), as well as enhance and modify already known attacks. You should upgrade the 2 stances you use most often in the game first, because skill points accumulate relatively slowly.
