Types of lightsabers

Single lightsaber - your starting weapon. This is the main type of weapon.

Double-blade lightsaber - you can get it on Dathomir. The upgrade is on the workbench. Perfect for fighting groups of opponents.

Dual-wielding lightsaber - you will get it by completing missions on Ilum or on Bogano, in the Abandoned Workshop. Great for finishing enemies off.

Chests and lightsaber upgrades

In Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order, the only items you can get from chests are cosmetics. They only affect the appearance of your lightsaber, not its stats. Skills associated with the lightsaber can only be purchased with skill points earned by gaining new levels.

Lightsaber modifications

You can modify your lightsaber by interacting with a workbench. Here you can change the color of the blade, emitter, handle and material. You get cosmetics from chests.

Best skills

Improving the lightsaber should lead to the two best abilities. The first of them is the Switch Attack, which allows rapid attack the double-blade lightsaber. It deals a lot of damage.

Lightsaber Throw is a great skill useful in fights. With this ability, you can eliminate opponents without getting close to them.

How to unlock more lightsaber colors?

Colors available from the start:

1. blue;
2. green;
3. orange - pre-order bonus.

Colors found on Ilum, in the Jedi temple:

1. purple;
2. yellow;
3. cyan;
4. magenta;
5. indigo.
