How to heal the hero in Jedi Fallen Order? Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order guide, walkthrough

Last update: 15 November 2019

Lost health points of the main character in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order can not be automatically restored, i.e. as a result of inactivity after completing a battle. On this page of the guide we explain how to restore the Hero's health to its maximum state and how to permanently increase the hero's healing capabilities and health bar.

How to recover lost health points?

The controlled character can be healed in two main ways - How to heal the hero in Jedi Fallen Order? - Combat - Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order Guide

The controlled character can be healed in two main ways. The first technique is to rest by the meditation points, an equivalent to the bonfires known from the Dark Souls franchise. Resting is free and it also restores the Force bar, but all of the previously defeated enemies are respawned (does not apply to bosses). It is recommended to stop by a meditation point once you thoroughly explored the area, although the respawn of the enemies can be utilized to develop the character quicker.

The second method is to ask the BD-1 droid for healing - on the console version of the game it is done by pressing the up button on the d-pad - How to heal the hero in Jedi Fallen Order? - Combat - Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order Guide

The second method is to ask the BD-1 droid for healing - on the console version of the game it is done by pressing the up button on the d-pad. This option is not available from the beginning of the game. You must meet BD-1 on the first planet - Bogano - and get the droid to where Cal was electrocuted (a cut-scene will initiate).

This solution, unfortunately, has serious limitations-BD-1 can heal the hero a certain number of times. Initially it is only 2 uses. The number of permitted uses can be increased by finding Stim Canisters. The supply of available treatments can be restored by resting at a meditation point. It is highly recommended to do so, especially if you, for instance, are planning to take on a boss enemy.

An additional method of returning to full strength is to hit the enemy that previously killed the main character - How to heal the hero in Jedi Fallen Order? - Combat - Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order Guide

An additional method of returning to full strength is to hit the enemy that previously killed the main character. In addition to regaining lost XP, the additional benefits of such an act is the restoration of health and Force bars to their maximum.

How to permanently improve the vitality and healing of the hero?

During the game, you may encounter unique treasures that allow permanent enhancement of the controlled character. The first group of such treasures are the Life Essences. Each time you collect three of those items, the health bar of the hero will permanently increase. Essences can be found in ordinary boxes.

The second group of unique treasures are the Stim Canisters - How to heal the hero in Jedi Fallen Order? - Combat - Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order Guide

The second group of unique treasures are the Stim Canisters. Each find of this type increases the amount of treatments that can be performed by BD-1 by 1. Canisters can be found in yellow boxes.
