Difficulty levels South Park: The Fractured But Whole Guide

Last update: 20 October 2017

The game features two types of difficulty levels: one is connected to combat and the second is mainly connected to money etc. The combat difficulty level can be changed at any point of the game in the game's menu (you learn about that during Birth of a Coon Friend quest). It determines how tough your enemies are (amount of health, use of more complex strategies) and its only goal is to make the game more appealing to those players that prefer challenge - you don't get any additional rewards or more money from enemies that were defeated on a higher level.

The general difficulty level is selected during the character creation process. It is connected to your hero's skin color. The darker the skin, the more difficult the game. You shouldn't worry about that - it is connected mainly to items which means that you find less items and money. However, all objects that have a fixed location in the game (e.g. artifacts) can be found in the same place on every difficulty level.
