Basic structures

Basic structures require you to manually place individual elements in specific spots. To build them, follow the instructions in the book, which you can open by pressing the B key.

There are currently 5 types of basic constructions in the game:

  1. Tent - allows you to rest and save the game. This is by far the simplest structure for these two actions, but it provides almost no protection.
  2. Fires - they give heat, serve as a source of light and allow you to prepare basic meals.
  3. Stick Structures - sharpened sticks are the basic form of protection against enemies.
  4. Walls, Doors, Windows - with them, you will strengthen the shelter and make it functional.
  5. Stairs, Ramps, Bridges - constructions that allow you to move between levels and make it difficult for enemies to access your shelter.

Advanced structures

Select the place where you want to build the object and confirm the action with the left mouse button.

You can ask Kelvin to help you build. To do this, interact with him and select Build and then Finish Structure from the command menu. Kelvin will collect the materials available in the area and use them for construction. However, keep in mind that the companion won't be able to finish his order if he doesn't find the right items nearby.

There are 7 types of advanced constructions in the game:

  1. Shelters - they allow you to hide from enemies and bad weather.
  2. Tree Shelters - protective structures that can be build on trees. Thanks to them, enemies will have difficult access to you.
  3. Furniture - decorative and utility elements that allow you to rest or illuminate rooms.
  4. Storage - structures for collecting and storing materials such as stones, logs or skulls.
  5. Utility - here you will build roads that can lead you to a place you are interested in.
  6. Gardening - facilities in which you can sow seeds and harvest plants.
  7. Traps -they will help you hunt animals and help stop enemies.
