In mission 4 (War Factory) from the game Sniper Elite 5, you must first infiltrate the enemy factory. Our guide informs you about the paths and dangers in the factory (armored vehicle).

As you arrive at War Factory (Mission 4 of Sniper Elite 5) your new objective is to infiltrate the area. Our guide lists 3 main paths to the factory . Moreover, we've prepared tips regarding the exploration itself. The greatest threat here is the armored vehicle patrolling the area - you will learn how to destroy or avoid it correctly. The final part of the walkthrough explains how to leave the mission area and when exfiltration is possible.

Infiltration of the factory premises

The default starting location in Mission 4 is the resistance hideout in the northwestern corner of the map. Before you leave the hideout, pick-up the Rat Bomb - it is used to complete an optional objective (Kill List Target - Matthaus Ehrlich)

After leaving the hideout, use the first zip line .

Approach the barrier and eliminate the first enemies. This is where you choose the path to the factory , and there are 3 different available.

The first variant involves crossing the dam in order to reach the northern part of the factory. There are several guards on the dam, but you can easily get rid of them, even before entering it (long range shots).

The second option is to use the eastern zipline. Using it will take you to the western part of the factory, but there are numerous opponents in the area, making sneaking difficult.

The third option is to use the southern zipline . Using it will take you to a smaller area with enemies - a few of them can be safely skipped without firing a single round. The route will lead you near the train station office and it will be easier for you to complete the mission objectives in the southern part of the factory.

Factory exploration and enemy armored vehicle

While exploring the factory, you first of all have to watch out for the 222 Armored Car patrolling the central part of the map . If you just want to avoid it, we recommend that you mark it with your binoculars so that you can easily track it and know in advance that it is approaching.

If you plan to destroy the armored vehicle , we recommend the following tactics:

1. Inspect the route of the armored vehicle and place a plate mine or TNTanywhere on it (picture 1).
2. A mine or TNT (you have to hit the explosive at the right moment) explosion will not destroy the vehicle, but it will immobilize it. Then you have several options, but take an interest in the rear part of the machine . You can sneak up on the vehicle and place an explosive on it (example in picture 2) or shoot the weak point from a distance (in this case, prepare armor-piercing ammunition).

In the factory, you can also find a Panzerfaust and an example location with it is the refinery roof in the eastern part of the map (this building is one of the main objectives of the mission). You can also pick up a Panzerfaust from one of the soldiers.

You can also mix the ways of destroying the vehicle e.g. plant a mine, immobilize the armored car and finish it with a rocket.

Another potential difficulty while exploring the factory may be the observation towers , although only one of them should be occupied by a sniper (the tower near the building with the Kill List Target). We advise you to eliminate the soldiers from the towers with long-range shots. You can also aim at the headlights mounted on the towers, but getting rid of the enemies from the tower will also do the trick.

Evacuation at the end of the mission (Exfiltrate)

In Mission 4, exfiltrating is extremely easy. You can proceed with it immediately after completing all main objectives of the mission, or only after thoroughly exploring the entire area and completing side quests.

The extraction point is at the southern end of the map . There are a few regular guards in the area. You can bypass them or, for example, sabotage the generator shown in the picture and then easily kill enemies with sound-protected shots.
