Crate

It's time to return to the family home. After completing The Muse From Abroad mission, you will get to the next room. However, you have to complete all the elements of the previous mission. We have described them in detail on separate pages of our guide:

If you have completed all the tasks, there will be a large wooden box in front of your family home.

In the box you will find a mermaid skeleton, which will remind Sherlock of another room located in the house.

Before you go to the cabinet of curiosities, though, you will see Mycroft for the first time. He will try to convince Sherlock not to dig into the past and their family home.

Traces

There are a few things you need to do before you enter the cabinet. First, mark the appropriate task in the briefcase to uncover the previously invisible traces. Use the concentration mode, otherwise you will not see anything in the living room.

The traces will lead you to the cabinet of curiosities, which is located behind the first door on the left.

Blanket

As soon as you enter the cabinet of curiosities, you have to check a lot of items. Start with the blanket, which is hidden behind the aquarium, to the left of the door. You'll have no problem reaching it in concentration mode.

Wall decorations

There are two animal heads hanging by the door. You need to examine both of them.

Sarcophagus

Under a large painting you will see a sarcophagus. Get close enough for Sherlock to take a look at it and say a few words about it.

Armor

The same applies to the armor next to the window. Take a look at it so that the men can remember a part of their history from years prior.

Desks

You'll find the first desk on the right side of the room, right by the window. There are two wooden chests on it. You should inspect the following items:

1. the book,
2. the torn diploma,
3. the painting,
4. documents.

The second desk is right behind the bookshelf. There you will examine:

1. a locked drawer,
2. a letter,
3. an envelope,
4. documents,
5. a business card.

You need a key for the locked drawer. It's described further down this page.

Skeleton

Next to the other desk you'll find a man's skeleton locked behind glass. The men will immediately remember their old "friend".

Weapon

There's a shield and two spears on the wall between the shelves. You need to examine them, too.

Shelves

The shelves in the middle of the room contain several items you need to examine. One of them is a picture with fairies.

Another one is a book, which Jon will especially like.

The last item on the shelf is a chalice. Unfortunately it's a fake, as Sherlock will tell you right away.

Helmet

The last thing you need to examine in the cabinet is a viking helmet. Sherlock will criticize it as well, because he'll see that many things are off about it.

Key to the drawer

To find the key to the drawer, you must first select the correct task in the briefcase. This task is from Jon, and if you do it, you will not only get new information, but you will also improve your relationship with him.

After selecting the task, you need to go to the desk and use the concentration mode on it.

You can stay in this mode, because you'll keep discovering new traces. Eventually, you will reach your mother's office, and specifically the fireplace. Jon is sitting in front if it and stares into the fire.

Look at the flame that's left in the fireplace. You'll find the key to the drawer among the cigarette stumps.

Go back to the office and examine the drawer which you couldn't open before. Inside you'll find:

1. a bottle of wine,
2. letters,
3. documents.

Reconstruction

After examining all available evidence, it's time to reconstruct the events. Check the briefcase first to make sure you've selected the correct task. Otherwise, you won't be able to reconstruct the events.

Right next to the desk you have to put two curious boys who got into the lockable drawer.

You'll also put Jon and Sherlock next to the mermaid skeleton. They should hide behind it so that nobody around can see them.

Doctor Violet and Mycroft should be at the other desk. Sherlock's brother is yelling at the other man.

When the scenes are arranged, confirm the reconstruction. That'll finish this part of the task.

After leaving the office, Jon will notice another package that was delivered to the apartment. This will start the next main mission.
