Mam monoliths in Shadow of the Tomb Raider Game Shadow of the Tomb Raider Guide and Walkthrough

MAM is the second dialect you'll meet in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. You will find it for the first time in Kuwaq Yaku. The first level of this dialect can be obtained quickly, just explore 3 objects. In the first location - Peruvian Jungle - there are no MAM monoliths.

Kuwaq Yaku
The First MAM Monolith
Following the main plot in Shadow of the Tomb Raider you will reach a place called Path of the Living. In the middle of this location there is a MAM monolith waiting for you. To unlock it, you must have level 1 of MAM dialect skill.
Lara will read out a hint: "Two guardians have fangs, two guardians have feet. One Guardians has both to better protect me". However, if you have to read text of the hints again, you can use the map - move your cursor on the monolith icon to see the hint text.
In the room with monolith there are three large stone statues. Behind the statue opposite the monolith, to the right, there is a treasure. Just enter the statue and dig it out to solve the mystery of the monolith.
Second MAM Monolith
In the northern part of the Kuwaq Yaku location you will find a monolith. It is located on a hill. To reach it you have to climb the trees.
The monolith contains a hint: "I lie silent where arrows once flew, guarding a door chich will no longer open".
To get to the treasure you must first go to the other side of the rocks by a broken tree.
When you jump off the tree, you will find a small part of the terrain. There will be a treasure under your feet. The passageway in front of you will be blocked with boards - you can't open it.
The Hidden City
The Third MAM Monolith
On the island, in the northern part of the city you will find a monolith. To get to it you have to swim through the water reservoir. There are two waterfalls in the vicinity of this monolith, but swimming next to them won't affect your character.
Monolith contains the following hint - "The waters below protect me from the waters above". If you want to read it again just use the map.
To find a treasure you have to dive under the waterfall. The waterfall is located on the left side of the monolith. To get to the treasure, you have to swim to the very bottom, then you will be given an option to extract the treasure.
Once this treasure has been extracted, Lara often jams and can't break away from the surface. So it's worthwhile to save the game before you start the challenge.
The Fourth MAM Monolith
In The Hidden City, near the entrance to The Mountain Temple you will find a MAM Monolith. It is right next to the wall, on the left side.
Monolith contains a hint - "The youngest of four his back on his brothers, unable to speak as I lie in his mouth". If you need to read the hint again, turn on the map and move the cursor on the monolith icon.
Around the monolith there is an area where employees extract raw materials. There are four buildings in the area - each of them has a different size. At the very bottom of the area, in the left corner, there is the smallest building. There is a treasure hidden underneath.
