Belly of the Beast | Walkthrough | Main quest Seven Game Guide

Last update: 08 December 2017

Belly Of The Beast is the ninth main quest in Seven: The Days Long Gone. It takes place in Our Savior's Temple. One of your objectives is to examine parts of the temple that can't be accessed by visitors (preferably while wearing a Biomancer's outfit) and face a powerful Biomancer called Sekler. The ultimate goal of your visit in the temple is to get access to the Ark.

Our Saviors Temple is located south from Artee (you visit it in the previous quest) and is in the south-east part of the zone 3 - Belly of the Beast | Walkthrough | Main quest - Main Quests - Seven The Days Long Gone Game Guide

Our Savior's Temple is located south from Artee (you visit it in the previous quest) and is in the south-east part of the zone 3. Try to get a Biomancer's outfit before you go there, you can do that by, e.g. killing one of them in Mortbane (more details in Where and how to acquire good disguises? chapter in FAQ section of this guide) or in any other location (excluding the areas around the temple). Wearing it isn't mandatory but this outfit will help you GREATLY during the quest.

The main entrance to the temple is locked but you can climb on the rocks on the right and reach its balcony. Go through the hole (see the picture) and enter inside the temple.

Go to the opposite end of the temple and watch the cut-scene - Belly of the Beast | Walkthrough | Main quest - Main Quests - Seven The Days Long Gone Game Guide

Go to the opposite end of the temple and watch the cut-scene. You have to reach the lowest floor of the temple. Find stairs that will allow you to go down. These areas are restricted which means that stealth is the only option if you don't have a Biomancer's outfit.

Reach the opposite side of the lower floor. Find the single stairs from the picture, they will lead you to the lowest floor.

You can use Sense Mode to detect the big tanks and then examine them personally (they are on the lowest floor) but this is completely optional - Belly of the Beast | Walkthrough | Main quest - Main Quests - Seven The Days Long Gone Game Guide

You can use Sense Mode to detect the big tanks and then examine them personally (they are on the lowest floor) but this is completely optional. Reach the bigger room. There, you can find Sekler, a powerful priest. Speak with him and then prepare for a fight.

Attack him with a good melee weapon. The priest can teleport around the arena so try to find him as fast as you can. Sekler will also summon monsters. Eliminate them quickly and go back to attacking the "boss". Sadly, he can regenerate. Besides that, you can also receive poison damage when the arena gets filled with a yellow substance. Ignore this damage (your health bar depletes very slowly), heal more often or switch to a ranged weapon and stay on the round platforms (they are safe). Your goal is to defeat Sekler.

Next, you have to reach the small room adjacent to the sanctuary - Belly of the Beast | Walkthrough | Main quest - Main Quests - Seven The Days Long Gone Game Guide

Next, you have to reach the small room adjacent to the sanctuary. The door to it is locked - use a lockpick (you need at least a polymer version) or search for the key. Approach the neuron network panel (see the picture), examine it in Sense Mode and interact with the console to complete the main objective.

During the conversation with Artanak you can decide to leave the temple or stay here for a little bit longer. Choose the second option if you still have to complete Cures Abound and Veil Of Darkness side quests and/or you didn't explore the entire temple and got all schematics and upgrades. Watch out for the mass participants - you can come across them during your walk to the temple's exit because they can expose Teriel, even if you are wearing a Biomancer's outfit. The best way to leave this place is to reach the upper balconies and exit the temple through the small hole in one of the walls.
