This page in our guide to Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice focuses on Tokujiro The Glutton. You will encounter this mini-boss in Ashina Depths region. Check our walkthrough to learn how to find Tokujiro and how to defeat both the mini-boss and his apes.
Location: Ashina Depths [Hidden Forest].
Rewards: Prayer Bead, Unrefined Sake.
This mini-boss is difficult to locate due to the fog in this area. Start with reaching the locked forest cabin. Find the tree presented in picture 1 - use the grappling hook on it.
Choose the passage on the right. It leads to the mini-boss' lair (picture 2).
The fight with Tokujiro The Glutton is very similar to the one you had with Juzou the Drunkard in Hirata Estate. The only difference here is that Tokujiro is accompanied by monkeys - eliminate them first. You can fight with the monkeys or sneak up on them. Monkeys will either try to attack you with a melee weapon or shoot you from a distance.
Once the monkeys are dead, move away from the mini-boss to calm him down - Tokujiro will go back to his post. Start sneaking and reach a position above the boss - jump down on Tokujiro to deal him the first Deathblow.
You now have to fight him just like you did with Juzou. Below you can find the most important information about this duel:
- Tokujiro fights with a large blade. You can block the majority of his attacks. Sweeps, marked with the red symbol, are the only exception - jump over them.
- The mini-boss will use poison to damage you. He can cover his blade with it or he can create a poisonous cloud. Regardless of which attack he used, move away from Tokujiro and wait for the poison to disappear. If you get poisoned, use Antidote Powder to remove poison from your body and stop losing health.
