Frontier is a jailbreak mission in Saints Row. The walkthrough in our guide tells you how to sneak inside the prison, how to free Nahualli and how to safely escape from the Frontier facility.

During The Frontier mission in Saints Row your objective is infiltrating a prison. Our walkthrough explains how to reach the prison, how to sneak your way through disguised as a guard, how to open the Nahualli's cage and how to escape the prison with him.

Wingsuit onto the prison
Head to the church and listen to the heroes discussing on how to break Nahualli out of prison.
You'll regain control over your character high up in the air. Jump out of the helicopter and glide towards the roof of the prison's main building. Make sure to slow down once you're close (L2/LT on the controller) to land safely.
Break into the prison
Examine the roof - find the hatch pictured above and interact with it.
Stealth your way through
Once inside the prison, you must avoid detection by other guards - you'll fail the mission if they see you. This stealth segment is a bit unusual. You must avoid staying in a guard's field of view for too long - you can't let the bar around the exclamation mark to fill all the way.
You can just quickly walk past the first guard encountered. Don't stop and you should make it. He won't turn around once you leave his field of view, letting you move on.
You'll reach the first prison block. You have a bit more freedom here. You must reach the stairs, then go up and go to the next part of the prison.
Go through some corridors until you reach the second prison block. There are several guards patrolling the lower level, but you can avoid detection by hiding behind obstacles. Wait for the guards to go the other way before proceeding.
Just like before, you must reach the stairs, go up and leave the block.
Find the Nahualli
You'll eventually reach a room where the Nahualli is being held in the central cage. Talk to him and use the exit at the back of the room.
Get to the control room
Follow the linear path and bypass the next guard before he exposes you.
Talk to the commander in the prison room - he'll recognize you and you'll need to take him out. Kill him in melee or with a Takedown.
Destroy the servers
Draw any of your firearms and shoot the servers marked with red icons. They should quickly blow up.
Save Nahualli
You can watch the scene through the glass wall or immediately return to the room with the cage. There, you'll see your new ally has already dealt with all the enemies.
Escape the prison
You must now start a long trek through the prison, during which you'll encounter Marshall guards and escaped prisoners. We recommend dispatching all the guards, as they're armed with guns. You can ignore the prisoners, unless they attack you by themselves.
Nahualli doesn't need much protection, but if he gets knocked down, make sure to revive him.
In the last prison block you'll encounter elite guards with good weapons and armor bars. Focus on one at a time - aim for their heads and use Takedowns once their armor breaks.
You'll eventually reach the parking lot.
Steal the truck
You must steal the truck with a mounted turret. This is the vehicle you'll use to escape. Nahualli should automatically mount the turret.
Ram your way out
Drive through the outer courtyard, avoiding enemy cars. The main gate will close, forcing you to turn left.
Head for the ramps and use them to jump.
You'll find yourself on a path next to the prison for a short while, but you'll need to use even more ramps immediately after. Eventually you'll reach the main building's rooftop. Keep driving. With one last jump, you'll crash into a helicopter in mid-air and land outside the prison walls. This ends the mission. You don't need to return to the Saints HQ.
