Defeat the spiders near the treasure at the Forbidden Valley

You can unlock this quest in Calador Bay, i.e. after you have found an appropriate book in the fishing village. After you reach Kila, you need to go to the Forbidden Valley, which becomes available after you progress to the third chapter of the game's story line (to learn more, see the walkthrough for the "Open the Large Gate" main quest). After you get to Forbidden Valley, go to its North-Western part (point 20 on the map). You need to watch out, because by default, there is a Soldier of the Oracle, here, among others. It is not as easy to defeat as the regular spiders.

Find the X mark

After you have secured the area, search out the red X mark on the ground. Use the shovel there and dig up the treasure chest. You can now open the chest, where there is, among others, Pirate Flag (it is one of the legendary items).
