Way to unlock the quest: Talk to Graham.

You get the opportunity to unlock this quest after you have progressed to the third chapter of the game's story line, i.e. after you have gained access to the Eastern part of the Calador Bay (areas at the other side of the lava river). You need to reach a small cottage in the deadlands (point 19 on the map). You should run into Graham here and he will ask you to pick Crisp Turnips for him, from the nearby fields.

Note - if you cannot find Graham near the cottage, it is best to change the time of the day, thanks to which you will not have to run around the deadlands to find him.

An example turnip that can be picked

You need to pick six Crisp Turnips and for that, you need to visit the small fields in the deadlands (point 19b on the map). After you are done, return with the turnips to Graham.
