Evil's Refuge | Main Quests - Skull Island Risen 3 Guide

The way to unlock the quest: Talk to Bones (after you defeat Crow's fleet).
Quest giver: Bones
You can unlock this quest after you have defeated captain Crow, during the "Sea Battle Against Crow" quest, whose description can be found in the chapter entitled "Other Quests". After the victorious battle, listen to the conversation with Bones, who tells you about a map found on Crow's ship, with the location of the Skull Island marked. This means that, from now on, you can visit the Skull Island, because it has been added to the world map (the above screenshot).
Note - The cruise to the Skull island is not a one-way-trip, Even if you head there immediately, you can leave it at any moment and visit the rest of the locations, in the game world, again.
After you reach the Skull Island (point 1 on the map), interact with the boat to get to the shore (point 1a on the map). Almost immediately, your allies will be attacked by a group of monsters (mainly minions) so, join the fights and help them eliminate the threat of the hostile beasts.
You need to head Northwards of the camp and, of course, you should expect your character to be attacked by tougher, or weaker opponents, along his path. Your destination is the entrance to the cave in the Northern part of the Skull Island (point 2 on the map) where you encounter... My Spirit. Listen to the conversation with the spirit, in the course of which you learn that you will have to rescue three friendly mages, imprisoned by Nekroloth. You do this, while doing the "Reunion" quest.
After you have completed the "Reunion" main quest, you can enter the cave, at which you earlier met your character's spirit. This way, you will reach Nekroloth's hideout, where the final battle against him starts.
NOTE - BEFORE you enter the cave, to start the battle with the final boss, you should GET WELL PREPARED for this battle, especially that it may be participated by another crew member. First of all, you should get lots of medicine, as well as supplies connected with your playing style (ammo for firearms, scrolls, etc.)
NOTE - after you start the final quest of the game YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO COME BACK outside. Apart from that, Risen 3 does not offer any New Game Plus mode so, after the end of the battle with the final boss, the game will be, simply, over. Therefore, make sure that you have saved the game, just in case, before the fight with Nekroloth and that you have completed all of the side quests, and also checked out on all the side activities (if you are interested in them).

- Unlocks the "Death Incarnate" main quest.
