How to unlock the quest: automatically after finding a Treasure Map

Quest giver: - (point 23 on the map).

Enter the hut and tear the map off the wall.

Treasure Map can be found in a hut, near the lake in the central section of Taranis Island (point 23 on the map), which you will visit during the side quest called "One Made It", given to you by Kjeld. Get rid of the monsters outside of the hut, enter the building and tear the map off the wall. Acquisition of the map will lead you to unlock the quest described in this section.

Note - before you set on the journey to retrieve the treasure, make sure that you have a Shovel in your inventory. This item can be either bought, or found in the world.

The treasure can be found near the Shadow Lord's lair.

The treasure you are seeking was buried in the South-Western section of the island, or to be more specific, in the Deadlands, occupied by one of the Shadow Lords and his underlings (point 23a on the map). First of all, deal with the rest of the enemies (killing the Shadow Lord isn't mandatory). Afterwards, look around for a red X painted on the ground and use your shovel to retrieve the treasure. Examine the contents of the chest to collect 50 Gold, Gold Ore, Golden Goblet and an Emerald.
