Kila | Trainers Risen 3 Guide

The above map contains references to all the places in which you can find ability trainers, living on the Kila Island. Each one of them can teach the Nameless Hero from one to few different abilities (albeit for a price, of course).

Two things worth noting - some of the trainers may be mobile, and the map show a few markers of the same trainer, meaning their different spots. In some situations, you can only use the trainer's services after you've done a quest associated with them.

1) Buddy

Buddy is also a dealer, and he organizes knife-throwing events.

Buddy is one of the pirates, and he can be found near the shipwreck on the beach (point 1 on the map).

During your conversation with Buddy, you can ask him for training. He specializes in the following abilities:

• Monkey Trainer from Thievery
• Safecracker from Thievery
• Master Thief from Thievery

2) Quinn

Quinn can be found near the shipwreck.

Quinn is one of the pirates. During the day, he can be found inside of the shipwreck on the beach (point 2 on the map), and during the night he can be found near the knife-throwing shield (point 2 on the map).

During your conversation with Quinn, you can ask him for training. He specializes in the following abilities:

• Daggers from Ranged
• Critical Hit from Ranged

3) Cunningham

Cunningham can be found inside of his cabin.

Cunningham is a doctor, and, regardless of the time of the day, he can be found inside of his cabin, in the shipwreck on the pirates beach (point 3 on the map).

During your conversation with Cunningham, you can ask him for training. He specializes in the following abilities:

• Silver Tongue from Thievery
• Haggler from Thievery
• Brew Potions from Magic
• Alchemy from Magic
• Ritual Master from Magic

4) Harry

You can find Harry on the pirates beach.

Harry is one of the pirates and he can be found on the beach neighboring the shipwreck (point 4a on the map) or inside of a small camp (point 4b on the map).

During your conversation with Harry, you can ask him for training. He specializes in the following abilities:

• Piercing Weapons from Melee
• Swords from Melee
• Slashing Weapons from Melee
• Bulletproof from Toughness

5) Colby

Look around the encampment on the pirates beach.

Colby is one of the pirates and he can be found on the beach neighboring the shipwreck and inside a small camp (point 5 on the map).

During your conversation with Colby, you can ask him for training. He specializes in the following abilities:

• Riposte from Melee
• Blade Dancer from Melee

6) Borbor

Initially Borbor can be located near the pirates beach.

Borbor is one of the local natives. This man can initially be met near a campfire to the South of the pirates beach (point 6a on the map). In the latter part of the game (after doing the side quest "Unexpected Effect"), Borbor will move to the main headquarters of the natives (point 6b on the map).

During your conversation with Borbor, you can ask him for training. He specializes in the following abilities:

• Liquid Courage from Toughness
• Drinker from Toughness
• Skinning from Hunting
• Take Horns from Hunting

7) Tadashi

Tadashi will share his knowledge only after you've hunted two strong monsters.

Tadashi is one of the natives, and you will meet him in the second part of the jungle, near the main encampment (point 7 on the map).

Unfortunately, in the beginning Tadashi won't be willing to share his knowledge with the Nameless Hero. The only way to convince him to change his mind is to hunt a pair of monsters indicated by the native and it is done while completing the side quest called "Big White Hunter". The mentioned character specializes in the following abilities:

• Skinning from Hunting
• Pull Teeth from Hunting
• Pull Claws from Hunting
• Take Horns from Hunting
• Pull Trophies from Hunting

8) Tenya

Tenya can be found in the main section of the natives village.

Tenya can be found in the main section of the natives village (point 8 on the map).

During your conversation with Tenya, you can ask her for training. She specializes in the following abilities:

• Doctor from Toughness
• Create Talisman from Magic
• Craft Spells from Magic
• Voodoo Magic from Magic - this proficiency only becomes available after joining the Natives
• Master Mage from Magic - this proficiency only becomes available after joining the Natives
• Battlemage from Magic - this proficiency only becomes available after joining the Natives
• Focus from Magic - this proficiency only becomes available after joining the Natives

9) Ixil

Ixil is located in the natives village.

Ixil can be found in the main section of the natives village (point 8 on the map).

During your conversation with Ixil, you can ask him for training. He specializes in the following abilities:

• Brew Potions from Magic
• Alchemy from Magic
• Ritual Master from Magic

Note - after completing the side quest "The Reckoning" you won't be able to learn from Ixil anymore. If you care about learning from the man, do so before deciding to complete the mentioned quest.

10) Booze

You must first complete a side quest associated with Booze.

Booze is one of the pirates and he can be found near the shipwreck (point 10 on the map).

Initially, Booze won't be even interested in teaching the main character anything. The only way to change his mind is to complete a side quest called "Booze's Befuddled Mind", allowing Booze to regain his senses. The character specializes in the following skills:

• Distiller from Toughness
• Intimidate from Toughness

11) Hirutu

You must join with the Natives in order to train with Hirutu

Hirutu is the chief of the Natives, and he can be found in the central part of the village (point 11 on the map). Note - you can train with this person only after you join with the Natives.

During a conversation with Hirutu you can ask him to train the Nameless Hero. He specializes in following abilities:

• Vision of the Alchemist from Magic
• Vision of Blood from Magic
• Vision of Death from Magic
• Vision of the Fighter from Magic
• Vision of the Adventurer from Magic
• Indestructible from Magic

12) Baraka

Baraka stands watch at the great gate

Baraka can be found by the great gate in the north-west from the Natives Village (point 12 on the map). Note - you can train with this person only after you join with the Natives.

During a conversation with Baraka you can ask him to train the Nameless Hero. He specializes in following abilities:
