Jim's Treasure | The Sword Coast - Quests Risen 2 Guide

When you obtain Jim's treasure map (see: Jim's Treasure Map), you can start searching for his hidden valuables. The chest is buried in the central part of the island [#1], near the grand waterfalls.

Finding the place where the chest is isn't difficult (use the marker on the map to help you locate the exact spot), but getting it out is another matter. All because of an Alligator lurking around, which is one of the most dangerous creatures you can encounter on the Sword Coast. It's not only fast, but also lethally threatening in a direct encounter, so you have to be extremely cautious. If you're not too good with swords, attack it from a distance and use sprint to escape. The Alligator has trouble with sudden movements, so the best solution in order to avoid its jaws is to frequently change your position.

The treasure is buried near the grand waterfalls in the central part of the island.

Once you've eliminated the threat, you can get your hands on the chest. Its exact location is marked by a cross drawn on the ground. Of course, you'll need a Shovel to dig it out - you can buy it from Sophia [#2] in Puerto Isabella.
