Quest giver: Roquefort [#2]

When you first approach the governor's seat [#1] in Puerto Sacarico, you'll witness a short conversation between Sebastiano and his subordinate Roquefort. Wait patiently until the uneven battle of words ends and talk to the scolded soldier [#2]. Admit to looking for pirates, and the man will give you the present quest.

The goal is to deliver a Sealed letter to the pirates' den, located in the north-east part of the island - if you agree to do it, Roquefort will even give you 100 Gold as an incentive, and promise another 100 after the mission is completed. The job doesn't seem too complicated, and indeed isn't, though the journey to the cutthroats' hideout may be a bit problematic. If you haven't been there before, taking Patty with you is a must - she'll be imperative in eliminating foes. Booze is the recipient of the letter. You can find him in the pirate tavern.

Note! Before you go, you can tell the governor [#1] about the mission from Roquefort. Di Fuego will tell you to show him the correspondence, so do that. Depending on whether you've unsealed the letter or not, the governor's reaction will be different. The sole fact that the letter has been read doesn't change the subsequent events, and there's no punishment for it either. The governor will only say that Roquefort should be more careful in choosing his messengers. It's hard to disagree.

When you finally reach the pirates' den, visit the local tavern [#3]. The person you're looking for is Booze, the bartender - deliver the letter to him. After completing the quest, he will try to send you back to Puerto Sacarico to carry the answer (see: The Sugar Trade). The Nameless Hero may refuse to run another errand, but the new mission won't be forfeited - it will be available later after choosing the proper dialogue option when talking to Booze.

• 100 Gold from Roquefort before completing the mission.
