What is a Datacube?
Datacube is one of the mysterious objects in Returnal that you can find in random places when exploring Atropos. Datacube allows you to permanently unlock new items in subsequent cycles - you can have only one such item at a time.
You can get your first Datacube after defeating Phrike – the first boss in Returnal.
Where to deliver a Datacube?
Datacube should be delivered to a special device called Datacube Processor - you can find one of them, for example, in the Anathema Vault. You will be able to use it after defeating the first boss.
When you place the Datacube in the device, you will receive one of the eighteen random items that will now be possible to obtain during subsequent cycles.
