Follow hints and you may leave the island, some day - General hints - The basics - Resident Evil: Revelations 2 Game Guide
Follow hints and you may leave the island, some day

1. Be stingy with ammo. In many cases, you will not even have enough ammo, and you will never have it in excess. At the highest difficulty level, managing it efficiently and well shooting are necessary to survive.

2. Explore. You will not live for long, without it. Search all of the rooms, check on shelves and even under beds. As soon as it is safe in the room, switch to Moira/Natalie, who will help you locate items that you do not normally see. .

3. Manage your equipment wisely. You carry equipment over from an episode to another so, do not use a herb, if this is not necessary, and do not throw explosive bottles at single enemies. The more of them you pick, the better equipped you will start the next chapter.

4. Upgrade your weapons. The Part crates can be found in the crates opened by Moira or Natalie. This will improve on the performance of your guns and a bigger clip, and the last bulled in it, will often save your file.

5. Sneak. Whenever possible, always go for the sneaky solution. Some of the enemies that you encounter can be taken down from behind. This will save up on your ammo and health.

6. Combine the items in the inventory. You can use empty bottles, and items that you find along your path, to craft explosive/incendiary/decoy bottles, which you are going to need in many difficult situations, for eliminating groups of enemies.

7. Use your weapons wisely. Are you fighting in a narrow corridor? Have the enemy come closer and fire your shotgun. Are you facing a group of mutants? Throw them a decoy bottle to drag them away and get by safely.

8. Various enemies, various tactics. The opponent with the explosive blister on the head dies after one well-aimed shot. There is not much point in shooting the enemies with weak points, anywhere else than to the head. Against stronger enemies, use bottles and shotgun.

9. Watch out for autosave. Out of ammo and bleeding? Trying to save the game, at all costs, is not always a good idea - in the case of the highest difficulty level, you start the game in the same condition, in which you ended so, do not expect any magic potions.

10. Moira and Natalie also are useful. Apart from opening crates only they can open, and finding collectibles, they are capable of aiding your character in combat, not only by attacking. Moira can blind enemies and, after she unlocks the ability to, also finish them off. Natalie, on the other hand, finds out if it is safe in the nearby room and shows the enemies that are out of Barry's sight.

11. Use your experience. For killing enemies, or finding some of the items, you receive experience points which, after you complete the episode or die, you can use to unlock skills that aid your survival.
