Resident Evil 7: Slash Slash, Slashity Slash! - Trophy/Achievement Guide

Requirement: Use a knife to clear a door of insects.

Commentary: You can unlock this achievement during the exploration of the old house. Destroying the hive in the east part of the house unlocks access to a secret corridor where Ethan can meet Mia and find the stone statuette. Once the encounter is done, try to go back to the entrance of the old house. You will cross paths with Marguerite, who will make it hard for you to use the door - she will put insects there. You can see the door on the image above. KEEP A SAFE DISTANCE - you don't want the insects to jump on Ethan. Choose the knife from your inventory and start waving it around. To kill the insects from the lower part of the door you simply have to crouch. You'll unlock the achievement once you clear the entire door.

If you miss the first opportunity to kill the insects you can also unlock this achievement while exploring the greenhouse (it's the location where Ethan must fight mutated Marguerite). At least one door in the greenhouse is covered with bugs.
