On this page of the Resident Evil Village guide, you will find the solution to the puzzle of figuring out the combination to the cabinet in the Workshop. Below you can find the combination to the padlock and see what type of loot you can get by opening the locker.
Workshop location
You can solve this puzzle after defeating the boss in the castle and returning to the starting village.
Ethan can now explore the Workshop shown in the accompanying images. Its gate is locked - use a knife or gun to destroy the padlock.
Enter the small hut to solve a puzzle with a combination to a padlock.
A note found in the hut tells you to look out the window, but watch out for a Lycan. You have to defeat it.
If you stand in the same place as in the image above then, starting from the left, you will get 07, 04, and 08.
The correct combination to for the padlock is 070408. In the stash, you will find:
- M1911 pistol - It has slightly better base stats than the LEMI pistol acquired at the very beginning of the game. Switch to a new weapon unless the starting pistol is heavily upgraded.
- Jack Handle - Ethan will be able to use it to lift the tractor in the village. This will unlock access to a new part of the village and new places to explore.
