During your adventure with Resident Evil 4 Remake, you'll come across Small Keys which are collectibles and at the same time, are also used to open Locked Drawers. On this page of our guide, you can find the list and locations of Small Keys appearing in Village. Getting as many of them as possible is recommended, as they are then used to open Locked Drawers and you need to do this secret in order to attain 100% completion of the region.

Small Key #1 - Valley

This key is in the southern building of the Valley, under the platform where you've found the Hexagonal Emblem. You'll find it in a small chest and make sure to collect it right away (during Chapter 2), as returning to Valley in later chapters is not possible, as the pathway to this location becomes blocked.

Small Key #2 - Village Chief's Manor

Small Key #2 is on the ground floor of Village Chief's Manor. Make sure to get it before Chapter 5.

Small Key #3 - Fish Farm

Small Key #3 is in a shack in the western part of Fish Farm, not far from the area where you've found the boat fuel. The final moment for collecting it is in Chapter 4, as from Chapter 5 onward, you cannot return to this location.

Small Key #4 - Forest Altar

The key is in a separate location which is accessed from Lakeside Settlement side. To access this area, you need to use Insignia Key on the gate. Make sure to pick it up right away, as the final moment for collecting it is Chapter 4 (from that point on, the area becomes inaccessible)

After opening the gate, reach the ladder leading to Forest Altar.

Small Key #5 - Church

Key #5 is inside the church and you can pick it up either in Chapter 4 or Chapter 5 (when it comes to the latter option, some new enemies will appear here and you'll have Ashley to worry about). To be exact, you can find it right from the altar where you've solved the Dials puzzle.
