Old Wayshrine Key

Wayshrines are one of the types of secrets in the Village. Initially, you can't open them. You need the Old Wayshrine Key.
You can get this key in chapter 4 - you must reach the Mural Cave, where you also have to solve the Church Key puzzle. The Old Wayshrine Key is in the chest.
Now you can open all the Wayshrines - some of them will require backtracking. A boat will be useful here.
Wayshrine #1 - Farm

Explore the northeastern part of the farm, near the gate leading to the northern building. The shrine has an Antique Pipe.
Wayshrine #2 - Lakeside Settlement

Explore the northeastern part of the location. You can easily get here later by boat - the harbor is at the southern end of Lakeside Settlement. The shrine has Pearl Bangle.
Wayshrine #3 - Quarry

The wayshrine is north of the main part of the quarry (e.g. where you fight El Gigante) and west of the merchant and the shooting range. There is a Butterfly Lamp in the shrine.
Wayshrine #4 - Western Harbor

You will find the wayshrine to the west of the main part of the lake. You can only get there by boat - this area is under the footbridges you crossed when going from the church. There is a Splendid Badge in the shrine.
Wayshrine #5 - Checkpoint

You need to advance to chapter 6, because only then will you visit Checkpoint (after defending the house together with Luis). Reach the stairs to the upper level and check out the southwest corner. The shrine has an Elegant Headdress.
Selling the key
After opening all the Wayshrines, you will no longer need the key since these shrines appear only in the Village region. You can sell it to the merchant for 3,500 coins.
