On this page of the guide, you are to find an interactive world map of the world for Resident Evil 4 Remake game, which covers 3 major regions - Village, Castle and Island. On the map we have marked, among other things, Finds and Secrets Files, Treasure and Locked Treasure, unique Yellow Herbs, Merchant locations, Typewriters, Shooting Ranges, Requests, Strong Threat mini-bosses, Blue Medallions or climbing locations for Ashley. Exploring these sites is to bring you closer to completing the RE4 Remake 100 percent.
- Locked Treasure
- Yellow Herb
- Blue Medallion
- Strong Threat
- Shooting Range
- Climbing sites (Ashley)
You can find dozens of Files in each of the main locations. These are mainly various kinds of documents and notes, but they can also be other physical items related to the storyline, such as the police officer's badge from the beginning of the game.
This is the main category of finds of real value. Treasures can be primarily gems of various kinds, but you can also find various artifacts.
Treasure maps purchased from a merchant can help you find Treasure secrets - they are then marked on the map even for places you have not visited yet. You can also sell the treasures you acquire to the merchant.
This category differs from the previous one in that the treasure is in a sealed container. These may include:
- Locked Drawer - a locked drawer that requires the use of a Small Key;
- Wayshrine - shrines of the village requiring a special key;
- Square Lock Box - lock boxes from a castle that require a special key;
- Chest with Decorated Keyhole - chests from the castle requiring a special key.
You can count on finding secrets of higher value, which you can then sell more expensively to a trader.
A very important category of secrets in the game is Yellow Herb plants. By finding them you can permanently extend Leon's health bar. You can consume the yellow plant alone or in combination with other colors (Green Herb, Red Herb) to further recover lost health points.
We have marked all the trader's stalls on an interactive map. You can discover his next whereabouts as you progress through the game. Gradually, his offer may also grow (e.g. new weapons, new rules, new items for exchange).
Our map shows all Typewriters, i.e. places where the game state is saved. You can use each Typewriter as many times as you like, as they do not require Ink Ribbon. However, frequent saving may degrade the overall Rank for completing the campaign.
As you go through the game, you can pass optional Request - we have marked on the map the places where blue cards can be found. From the content of each of them, you are going to learn about the premises of the given challenge (e.g. killing X rats, destroying X medallions, defeating a mini-boss).
The blue medallions are associated with Requests from Destroy the Blue Medallions category - you are to unlock several such tasks as you progress through the game, and in each of them you need to find and destroy a certain number of medallions within a given location.
Strong Threat is the name for the optional mini-bosses. You can find out about them by starting Requests related to them. Then an icon with the location of a strong opponent is going to appear on the world map.
Our interactive map shows where the Shooting Range entrances are. In them, Leon can enter the challenges of hitting targets and earn tokens, which are then exchanged in the machine for random prizes.
Climbing sites (Ashley)
The interactive map shows locations where Ashley can climb to get to the higher floor or the higher ledge. The exploration of these places is only possible in those chapters where Ashley travels with Leon (first starting in Chapter 5). The girl can then, for example, open the door for Leon or throw him a ladder.
