In RE4 Remake, Leon's inventory takes up the form of a suitcase of limited size. Inventory slots are occupied by various types of items: weapons and upgrades to them, ammunition, knives, grenades, healing items or crafting materials. However, you don't have to worry about making space for Treasures or collectibles - these are found and stored in other tabs of the pause menu.

You can press L3 in the inventory menu to Auto-sort items - this is a very useful feature that will help you keep your inventory neat and organized. Aside from Auto-sort, each item in the inventory can be moved or rotated in order e.g. to make more space for cumbersome items.

If your inventory is constantly cluttered by items, you can also:

  1. Sell unwanted items at a merchant - when it comes to weapons, each upgrade you've installed adds to the sale value.
  2. Move unused items to Storage - there will be one next to each typewriter and after the conclusion of each chapter. For example, you can Store healing items that you don't need now to use them later or place less used weapons there to free inventory space.
