Undergrounds and the first boss | Police station in Resident Evil 2 Resident Evil 2 Guide and Walkthrough

Place the three medallions into the statue in the main hall - you will be moved automatically into the undergrounds. Take a lot of ammo, a knife/grenade, and medicaments - soon, you will face the first boss.

Go through the door on the bottom floor.

Go down the stairs - you will find a grenade. Go back on the upper floor and reach the end of the corridor. Watch the cut-scene - time for your first boss fight.

Aim at the big yellow eye - this is the only spot where you can deal damage to the enemy.

The enemy fights with a metal pipe - the boss usually swings it a few times which means that you can avoid its attacks with ease. Sometimes, the boss will try to perform a thrust. Shoot the monster a few times or throw a grenade at it. This will cause the big eye on the monster's shoulder to open -shoot it, and you will notice an orange substance leaking out from the eye.

The boss is slow - try to anticipate its moves and dodge.

Try to deal as much damage as possible in a small amount of time - the eye is open only for a limited period. After that, it will close. This means that you will have to sacrifice a lot of ammo to open it again.

Tip: there is a lot of ammo and herbs in the arena's corners. Combine the herbs to create more medicaments.
